Recouping lawyers fees

I have them on violations anyways so if I have to file a separate lawsuit I can.
Why not countersue them? Countersue for the fees plus the viola

My attorney filed my answer with the court but I dont see anywhere about countersuing. She said that first we need to deal with the initial lawsuit then file suit on the violations. I guess that the lawyers fees will come into play on the follow-up lawsuit.
Thanks for your response, we are in the discovery phase so a countersuit is too late now I guess.
CACH seems to file lawsuits alot here, probably hoping for a default judgement. Im actually looking forward to see what they have to say in court since the debt has dropped off my CR and I know a payment has not been made in years.

Be sure to have your lawyer ask for validation in discovery!! That is VERY important! If you have proof yourself that the debt is out of SOL, you can likely file that too...ask your lawyer and just motion to dismiss with prejudice....but definately look into a suit yourself.
