There are so many of us on this fourm that have fallen victim to Cash Call.....many have let their accounts go to collections and have done way better and some have ended up in court. Because of unfortunate circumstances, medical issues, I have not paid on my account since December.. I have been trying to figure out a way to pay them along with the hospital bills....

Today I received an e-mail from their loss mitigation department offering a change in terms. My interest rate lowered, thus my payment is lowered by about $90.00. And wow, I get to start over with a clean slate (their words) I have until Feb 28th. I will more than likely take the offer until I can just pay them off. The interest rate is cut in 1/2 so that will help. And now that I am back to work I hopefully can catch up.

It is amazing how they stick us for an obscene interest rate and then they want to do us a "favor" by lowering it to a slightly less obscene interest rate. And the sad part is, the sense of relief I felt not to be sent to collections and not to worry about court and garnishment. And I am "happy" ( can not find another adjective) to pay the slightly less obscene interest rate. This is one of those days I could kick myself repeatedly for thinking that taking this loan would help me out.

Dont kick yourself. I am sure you have done that numerous times already. Roxy, I dont think you have any other choice but to "let them do you a favor" andtake their very generous offer. It beats going to court.
I am so sorry you got involved with these slime balls, but now all you can do is work towards getting away from them.

Has anyone seen anymore ads, for Cash Call? I haven't seen any, in a while. I just thank GOD my account, from Cash Call, was 'sold' to an CA. i don't know, if this would help, but....would anyone like the name of the CA? i don't know if you can 'move' accounts, or not, but, it's worth a try.

In my personal experience, if Cash Call gives you ANY 'wonderful opportunity' turn it down. It may SEEM great, but, in the end, it's really not. They gave me a 'great deal' at one time, too. As I did all of the calculating, I would have paid back MORE than %100 of what I originally barrowed. BE careful with their 'great deals.'
