I have been reading the info on PDLs in NCI received mine via internet...I was reading the the "ACT" for NC but it was a bit confusing... I have 5 PDLs...
1. $575-have paid 275 (117.5 in March)
2. $260-paying $60 until May then $110
3. $325-will be paying $75 until June then it will $125
4. $325-will be paying $75 until June then it will $125
5. $$260-will be paying $60 until July then $110

the amounts include finance charges...are these allowed or what...can anyone help SOON!!!!

Some people have been successful in getting refunds. I actually got a few. However, they will mainly try to just give you a "paid in full" and not give you a refund. I fight for refunds; however, many people are just happy to get it marked "pif" and have them out of their life. Which is a good thing! But it never, ever hurts to demand a refund if you've overpaid. You may not get it, but at least you addressed the fact that you've overpaid.

When you file your complaints, you can put in there that you demand a refund of the overpayment. The BBB site will ask you "what resolution do you want". Tell them you want to be marked paid in full, account closed, and a refund of the overpayment of xxxx dollars. Also, when filing with your state AG, state the same thing.

Good news Love. Do not get discouraged. I filed complaints twice on some of my companies. And do not be suprised if the pdl does not respond. I had some of those too. One other thing..I filed in my state as well as the state the company is located in...may not have made a difference but I had nothing to loose.

love, they BBB will transfer it to the correct location. Yes, it's a waiting game; however, you might get good results. I, like roxy, filed more than once on some of my pdls if I was not happy with the responses I received. Don't be afraid to refile if you have to. Hang in there, get rid of that cold, and continue the fight! You have already come a long way! We are behind you 100%!

Got an email from another BBB that they are sending it on to the company and give them 14 days to respond...at 9am today my bank will get an unhappy call from me--they transferred all my money to a new account except they should of transferred only part of it since it has left me with $432 in NSF charges ($217.52 worth of legit charges =$432 in NSF charges....hmmmm sounds almost like PDLS)Anyway they better clear the charges so we can see if ROXYNY's desk can handle anymore happy dances....LOL. Well enough venting for the moment....have a good morning all

LOL---will wait till Thursday--by then my old account should be closing and my new one fixed!!!. If you are reading this and you are trying to stop PDLs don't let this matter scare you from stopping PDLs....Problems will happen and you need to just stay on top of things and remember you have people ready and willing to patiently help you. I knew this morning when I saw the mess I could vent here and know if I had problems--there was help.

thanks CANNR-its "funny" on the phone they could do nothing but when I went in they could do one thing but it was easier to close account and open new one. i have had trouble with this bank in the past---i watched my account like a hawk even before this incident. the paperwork I took in made a difference (also having a cheering squad helped or should I say a "dancing queen"--lol)

---we could sell the video on EBAY----we could rake in the dough...lol.....

love, your bank is going to be okay, I believe. They're just SLOWLY getting it done. I'm glad roxy did a "happy desk dance for you"! Maybe she should change professions and be a dancer??? Your son is AWESOME. And, yes, keep a log of calls. Don't take them. Just keep track. Tell Tim Atkins to BITE YOU!
