I have been reading the info on PDLs in NCI received mine via internet...I was reading the the "ACT" for NC but it was a bit confusing... I have 5 PDLs...
1. $575-have paid 275 (117.5 in March)
2. $260-paying $60 until May then $110
3. $325-will be paying $75 until June then it will $125
4. $325-will be paying $75 until June then it will $125
5. $$260-will be paying $60 until July then $110

the amounts include finance charges...are these allowed or what...can anyone help SOON!!!!


Is this the same place??? Mine was returned to sender---no complaints???? Help...my cash now is relentless--no help from BBB or AGs

Sorry Guys had meetings today and then Scout meeting tonight...UGH! I was trying to find addresses...LIke you Cannr, I found a partial at the BBB...I know that my cash now and Pay Day Max are parts of Credit Protection Depot. I pm'd love ...if all else fails, I will try to call tomorrow. I know MCN is overseas...Grenada or something...I had this same problem with GFS and ended up only being able to fax them.

Love, do not give up. You are fighting a good fight. PDLS are prohibited in your state correct? Then you stick to your guns, even if you have to write it a thousand times. I know it can be overwhelming...I started on this site in August 2007 and by October/November, things slowed considerably. I sent you a pm....please look at it.

Please accept our apology for not getting back with you sooner.

Your earlier complaint was closed due to lack of information. However, we
have received your second (2nd) complaint.

my cash now is not a member of the Better Business Bureau. We have no legal
authority to do anything about their business tactics. Also, I have several
complaints filed, they are not responding in any way to our contacts. And we
cannot make them, all we can do is give them an unsatisfactory report due to
no response to their customer's complaints.

We have no authority in North Carolina. We can do nothing. But, you have
done the most important thing you can do and that is file your concerns with
the Attorney General of NC. Their offices do have the authority to look
into My Cash Now business practices.

I regret we are unable to address your concerns. If we can be of assistance

It's okay, love. Very often the BBB can't resolve these things. Especially with overseas pdls. Or if they don't get a response from the pdl. Whatever. That's fine. Do not get discouraged just by the BBB. Your state AG complaints will be addressed. It takes the state AG a bit longer to respond to complaints, so it's kind of a waiting game with them. However, once they start, they will send the pdls repeated letters. Do not get discouraged, okay? It's just the BBB. You've got the AG working on them also.

Love, I have received several of those myself and it left me very frustrated, feeling like I was rolling a boulder up hill...I hate feeling like the bad guys always win. Please do not get discouraged and hang in there. Cannr has been involved in this process way longer than me and she knows her stuff. Lets wait to see what the AG has to say.

mail call.....My Cash Now sent back again--using new york address and I used tn address---bbb in tn can not help with these jerks---AG is all I have for my cash now!!! Also AG in Las Vegas states address in NV for ameriloan and One Click Cash is mail drop only address and office MAY be located in OK...we will wait and see...

love, regarding my cash now, since they are located overseas, have you file with the FTC on them? The FTC is very interested in the overseas pdls. Do NOT get discouraged. Your AG might be of more help than anyone. It takes them awhile though. But, I'm telling you, they will get on it. They have to investigate every complaint they get, so it takes them a bit longer to get the ball rolling. However, they will. Please don't give up. It's hard in the beginning. Very hard. But once the ball starts rolling, you will get results.

I now know PaydayLoan-yes's corporate office is in the Bahamas!!! Oh and they want payment NOW...BBB closed my case against ameriloan and One click Cash!

This is confusing they say on a message that this is First National Services---but when you do a search of the number-it comes back as CashNet...plus addresses do not make sense...the lady on the phone says the corporate office is in the Bahamas...can not find?? This PDL stuff is too hard---I do not know who to call or write any more---I am getting fed up and they can take me to collections...BBB is worthless (in my case) and AGs went missing!!!

I wish people better luck than me....I AM FED UP and know the only result I am getting other than hell is collections!!! :evil:

Love...believe it or not colelctions is not necessarily a bad thing. If you get sent to collections, it is easier to get them to stop calling...the bad thing....it means more letters. When you get sent to collections, you want to request the collection agency validate the debt, which they will not be able to do. I know this is frustrating and it seems like it will never end...It will. The good thing about collections, they fall under the Federal Debt Collection Protection Act and you really do have recourse if they collection agency violates. Check out the stickys on the top of the page on the Dealing with Collection Agency form. Which Collection agency is calling now....I will help you with them.

Its nice to see some people winning their battle on PDLs...I am not one of them...one AG said nothing will be done...BBBs getting nowhere.....I am disabled and can no longer keep this battle up.....if someone would get to my debtcc points that would help but that of course is not happening...wish everyone the best of luck...I wrote/called/faxed everyone and it got me nowhere--I hope PDLs one day will all be shut down but I can not at this time keep fighting.....GOOD LUCK

love, you're killing me here! I understand it's a tough battle. Believe me, I understand. I just hate to see you give up. I don't want these people haunting you forever.

I'm soooo sorry, love. This just really sucks. I do know that it takes time. It took months for me. I just waited it out. However, if your AG isn't even cooperating with you, I can see why you're discouraged.

If you're not getting a response regarding your points, love, instead of sending a pm (if you've tried that), then send an email. Send one to Jason or to Vikas.
