Does anyone know the addresses for these companies:

AIP
Xtra Cash
Antilles Ventures

Thank you very much for your help.

ICS is a payday loan company that claims to sign a paperless contract with you. In most cases, they do not send the $200 loan in the bank account after applying with them. Most of the people have even experienced unauthorized debits in their checking account. They withdraw more than the balance owed and later it becomes tougher to place a dispute with them.

ICS or Cash Today limited can be reached at the following address.

Cash Today Limited
1005 Terminal Way Ste. 110
Reno, NV 89502
800-680-2177

As per the experiences shared by many people here, I will suggest you to close your checking account first. Do not let them take more money from your account. They will call you soon asking for the payment. Get a complete statement of all your payments first before sending any more money.

This is all great information and I am learning a lot from this site.
I have a question though...there has been a company trying to debit my closed bank account at B of A for $315.66 every other week. The company goes by the name of Northwood? Has anyone ever heard of this company?
I closed my B of A account back in November because of all this trouble with payday lenders trying to debit all my money but it appears that the account is still open because I kept on getting continuous attempts at debiting my account. So now, I have a negative $800+ in the B of A account which was 'closed' in Nov. 2005. Any suggestions on how to find this company and track it down? I contacted B of A and they have no information on the bank.

Seems like you are hearing this type of ILLEGAL THREAT for the first time!! Don't panic!! Send a request for detailed statement about your account in writing. You have to review your account before you make any payment to them. Send this letter through certified mail with return receipt requested so that you are sure that they have received it.

Most companies use such scare tactics to fear the people. Cover your basis and I am sure you will be in safe side.

Does anybody know which website this company runs from? I did 2 loans and my bank statement says one thing but I can't find the original website I applied on. I saw so many that they all pretty much said the same thing.
My bank statement says XTRA CASH
Thanks,
Julie

Have you talked to your bank and blocked the company from making further debits in your account. Take this step so that you don't lose your money further. Your bank might also be having their latest phone number. I am also looking out for their latest number.

Someone claiming to be from Paragon just called me and try to tell me that they have a judgment to collect. When I told him that he had to take me to court to get a judgment first, he got all ugly. They took 800.00 out of my bank account on a $200 loan and that was a year ago, now I am getting called about owing them money. Any information anyone has about this company is appreciated.

Linda, what is this company trying to collect for. They must send something in your mail before making collections. Do you know the name of the company for which they are calling you? The company cannot have a judgment against you without court orders. Check with your local county office and the latest copy of your credit report to confirm their moves. First Credit of America has been causing problems to many others. Read some of the threads here.

the phone number is 1-877-598-1088. If this isn't the correct number, contact your bank. They will give you the phone number by contacting the issuing bank. In turn, that bank has to supply your bank with the correct phone number.

I have been approved for a 5000.00 loan which would be great for debt consolidation. My interest rate is 7.2% which is also excellent for my credit. They want me to send them 800.00 for collateral and also fax them personal information. I am afraid if I send them 800.00 I will never see the money. Has anyone ever dealt with this company before? This would really help me clean up my credit and help in my hope of buying a house in a year.

Don't send them any money. We fell for this scam in late Oct 2005 they got us for 800.00. First they said they needed 500.00 in order to buy the insurance coverage on us because of our bad credit. Okay, we sent them the 500.00 with no loan being deposited into our bank. We call them the same day it was suppose to be deposited and they said they needed another 300.00 because our credit was worst than they expected so the insurnce coverage would be higher. We sent it. Day after day the loan never came. We were never able to contact them after we sent them the 800.00 their phone number was disconnected their website was gone. We then went to RipOffReport.com after seeing their name in a search and found out many people were tooken by the same people we did. At the time, we were desperate for a loan so our thinking went out the window. The loss of 800.00 was so devasting on our bank account. We are much wiser now. Don't sent them any thing report them to the BBB with their new address and info. Maybe they can eventually catch up to the people.

They are attempting to collect from me twice. I was able to locate their phone number and i have their business number, and i reported them to the better business bureau in kansas city.

Phone number is: 913-648-7541
Fax no: 877-518-1288
Fax no: 866-290-5952

I hope that this is helpful, and don't anyone ever use them for a loan, they are terrible.

Hi strongevr

You have already too much money towards your account since April. I am surprised why you are still allowing DMS to debit money from your account. Contact your bank and immediately block this company from further debits. The company might contact you later after not receiving money from you. Ask them to show your past payments which will prove that the loan has been fully paid. Also, get the PIF in writing. It's a must so that no other company contacts you for this debt later.

The internet payday loan companies AIP and ICS are at the same address in Wilmington, Delaware.

AIP
2207 Concord Pike
Wilmington, DE 19803
800-274-4159

Neither AIP or ICS are licensed payday lenders in the State of Delaware; according to the State of Delaware website. Therefore, it is likely the state agency which regulates payday lenders has received numerous complaints about those two companies. It wouldn't hurt to bend their ears once again if you have a complaint against either of these two firms.

what remedy do the payday loan companies such as AIP or Paragon Payday Loans have if you do not have enough money in your account to make the payments or the account is closed. I live in North Carolina and was wondering because some one told me about this information. I thought they were illegal in NC?

Pam6618, pdls are prohibited in NC, you are only obligated to pay back the principal you borrowed. You can use the template letter from Polly's blog and insert NC's pdl law. Also, it is important that you file a complaint with the AG's office so that they are aware that these companies are conducting business with NC consumers.
