I haven't sent a DV letter as this is the first thing I'm receiving even mentioning The Bureaus. I know I've been totally stupid in how I've handled the whole situation but I am in a place now where I feel I have my head together to deal with this stuff and feel totally lost. MBNA is the original creditor but like I said I've never received a letter or anything from the collection agency this place claims to represent.
I'll send the DV as a first step.

Each of these tactics has its pros and cons.

I guess part of what I'm wondering is can they seek arbirtration or a judgement against me when I've never received any communication from The Bureaus about the debt? Should I mention this in my DV?
