I started getting calls about a week or so after I defaulted on all of mine. Believe me; they won't let it just rest without making a stink first. Cause I thought the same thing about mine; thinking okay where are they......
First you will get emails and or phone calls stating there is something wrong with your account; or we are having problems with your account please contact us...
Hang in there; it will getting nasty before the storm passes....
So don't freak out and stand strong.. the community is here for you....
Take care.

They will not give up that easy, they will try to collect first then they will try to settle (for more money than you owed). Hang in there we are akk here for you.

I'm still waiting too.... I sent my letters in February and rceived 2 e-mails from MTE which I have way overpaid and nothing since then from anyone. From all I have read on them I know that I will eventually here something from someone, especially my cash now since I feel like I owe them $281 from my last loan with them. I would like to think that M1Y and MTE called it a day since I have overpaid so much and that My Cash Now decided they've taken way to much from me from when I have reloaned each time.
Not going to happen but a nice thought anyway!!!

Thanks everyone! I will just enjoy the silence while it lasts and keep checking my emails. I will definitely post them here to get feedback. I'm kind of chicken when it comes to these people, so I don't really plan on talking to any of them verbally. Just by email or usps! We'll ride out the storm together. :-)

Angell, it's been silent for you since February? How awesome! I hope I get that kind of silence. It will give me time to work up some more nerve and also I think time can = leverage. If they were content with no money for this long, then they can just wait a little longer until I can pay without getting bogged down even more.

I was suprised as well and I keep waiting for the crap to hit the fan.... The only thinkg I did do to save myself some peace was to bite the bullet and pay the ever so nasty BIG. I couldn't handle the stress of them calling me at work all day every day if I didn't :(
Two were way over paid as far as I am concerned and I didn't ask either one about a refund. M1Y would have been about $500 if I could have gotten it back from them. I'm just happy to have my life back!

I know where you are coming from. Even though I have overpaid on the majority of my internet PDLs, I am actually just paying off two that are owned by MTE, just so I don't have to deal with them harassing my workplace. I have soooooooo much anxiety over that.

MTE is one that I feel like I have overpaid... so far they have sent me two e-mails. One I told them I never received, I had overlooked it and it was a "settlement offer" for me to pay them the remaining $100 of principal ( I had been paying $30 every two weeks on that $100 for far to long) and the other was a "sending you to collections as I did not respond to their generous offer. I replied to that one that I did't get their "settlement" e-mail and to resend to me so that I could review with my NC AG and I have heard nothing back from them. That was March 3rd!

Wow- they sure backed off, then. I would consider that lucky, after reading some of the nightmare experiences others have had in dealing with them. I'm just not willing to take that chance. My job is too important to lose. In my line of work, a person with enormous amounts of debt and/or money troubles is considered a liability that may steal from the workplace. So the last thing I need is a PDL company calling my supervisor and illegaly telling them information about my debts and calling me a thief. I could very easily lose my job over that. And I work for a Sovereign Nation, so they can pretty much do what they please.

Same here! I worried and stressed about it for a long time, which is why BIG was paid! I'm hoping that in time I won't here much out of two of the three but I am sure to hear from my cash now!
