They are helpful to a point. Everyone's situation is unique, and every article can't apply to everyone. I think you should do as much research as you can, and use the articles and other tools you find as a general guide, and customise it to fit your situation.

Only time can actually rebuild your credit. For some it takes longer than others. The most important thing is to make sure to have current copies of your credit reports, and get rid of all the incorrect information. Mine was FULL of errors when I first started.

First i thought that whatever these articles are craps. getting out of debt consolidation can't be that easy. But you gave me a push and I am surely going to read them out.
