I called MyCashNow and asked for them to send me a copy of my loan agreement and they said that since it is my agreement, they are not allowed to send it to me. Isn't that illegal?

my cash now is crazy! They sent me an e-mail to threaten me with collections. When I replied to their e-mail I got a notice saying they were refusing my e-mail!!! And to top it off they send me e-mails for being a "good customer"!

I don't think they're legal bt I'm not sure. I would think that if they were they would be happy to send you a copy of the agreement.

I talked to a supervisor, and the explained their reasoning. Since they are an internet provider, I should have received an email with my loan agreement. I did not receive an email from them with that, just one that said "You've been approved". He said they can not access that and email it, and he was so very sorry about that. I asked what my apr % was and he told me for my first pay period, which will be 18 days, that it is 89.77% and if I extend it, then my next one, which will be 14 days, would be 69.83%. I asked for an address to mail a complaint letter to, and he told me they do not have a physical address. ???? How can a company not have a physical address? That has got to be illegal! He did give me a fax number to send a complaint letter to. Can I use that to send a C&D to and request that they mail me a response?

It seems these payday places never have an address to mail anything to, which only leads one to believe they are not legal. If they were, the way I see it, they would have an address. As far as a copy of your agreement, they are feeding you a line of you know what. They could send you a copy if they wanted to and if it was sent via email, they could resend it. legitimate companies usually do not have a problem sending someone a copy of their agreement. Another big sign they are not legit is the fact that they will send out emails, but cannot receive them. Have you tried going back to their original site to see if there was a place there to "contact" them with any questions or comments? With one of my pdls, that is how I contacted them. Might be worth a shot. Hang in there!!!!
