I posted this in another section of the forum but I think this is the more appropriate section of the forums.

How can I change my SN?
I believe since I signed up with the admin email for my website it automatically made my SN admin. I'd like it to be something different.
Is this possible?

really tania,i never opened that one.the other two i did.interesting.

Take it easy, 'admin'. Just because not everyone is as computer literate as you, doesn't mean you need to go off all half-cocked.

And Paul - I don't think admin meant to call Tania a liar - I think he was just defending his turf - or in this case, his websites...

Let's play nice, folks - don't jump down each other's throats over such a petty little issue.

I apologize if anyone feels that I am trying to be a scammer/shill or anything like that.
I was not intentionally "attacking" or trying to offend anyone. I posted this thread because I would like to change my username that is all.
I found this website and felt that I would be able to help people as I do on my Cyberbeggars website.
Again I sincerely apologize if I have offended anyone here.
If everyone would like I will just quietly go away...
yeah ok, I think I will just stay away from the linux thingie.
Luke, Linux is just another operating system. It's not something you use with Windoze. It's something you use instead of Windoze. It's based on a proven family of Unix operating systems that goes all the way back to the 1950's.

I like it better than Windoze, although I use both for different things. If you'd like to learn more about Linux, go here. If you decide you'd like to try it sometime, you can get a copy over here. If you need help, there are several of us on here that can answer questions.

PS while we're talking about Linux (a little off the subject)...

My company has a Unix server, and we all have dumb terminals on our desk that connect to the server. Yep, green-screen technology with no mouse is what I work on all day.

I'll give it one thumbs up though - I've never gotten a blue screen of death while working on a dumb terminal.

We're working on a server upgrade to Linux, and I hear we'll be getting actual PC's on our desk to replace the green screens.
