I am 110% positive that none of my websites contain anything malicious, My websites do not even have any pop-up windows.

all right,if you have something to bring.that's fine,but one of your links was direct to a pdl site.even if you want traffic to your links there still is a way to go about it.sounds like when your links were found out,all hell broke loose.sorry for that,but there are channels to take.the next step is yours,if you want to stay and follow the rules you will be welcome here.the ball is in your court.

Luke, Linux is just another operating system. It's not something you use with Windoze. It's something you use instead of Windoze. It's based on a proven family of Unix operating systems that goes all the way back to the 1950's.

I like it better than Windoze, although I use both for different things. If you'd like to learn more about Linux, go here. If you decide you'd like to try it sometime, you can get a copy over here. If you need help, there are several of us on here that can answer questions.

wow thanks unclewulf. Not to sound stupid, but the only time that I heard of the Linux system was on Jurrasic Park One when the girl was in the lab trying to get the lights back on, I thought it was just made up. I will try this and thanks again.

I thought you could change your username in your user profile... I changed my username that way about two weeks after I came to this site.

Now when I go to user options, there is no option to change my user name. I wonder if that's just because I'm a mod now, or if it applies to everyone?

PS while we're talking about Linux (a little off the subject)...

My company has a Unix server, and we all have dumb terminals on our desk that connect to the server. Yep, green-screen technology with no mouse is what I work on all day.

I'll give it one thumbs up though - I've never gotten a blue screen of death while working on a dumb terminal.

We're working on a server upgrade to Linux, and I hear we'll be getting actual PC's on our desk to replace the green screens.

I'd switch to Linux if all my programs would work with it, lol.

The option to change your user name in your profile was removed about a year ago after several members constantly changed their names to bad words and other terms to make fun of other members here.

Admin,per Simon our board admin your promo links in signature have to go too.
