Who you have loans with: B&L Marketing

How much you borrowed: 200 intitally, my total balance is 320 now.

How much you have paid back. Add fees and principle to get one total for each lender. Borrowed 200 and paid off in full (260) once. Then borowed again, missed first 60 withdraw, missed 2nd 60 withdraw, made 3rd 120 withdraw, missed second 60 withdraw. So in full on this loan I have paid only 120 to B&L but countless more in overdraft fees to my bank). Now 120 is due tomorrow and my bank account is closed (due to overwhelming overdraft - that i paid off last week before closing). Now all I have is a Chase Visa payroll card, which they say they cannot accept. I assume they could if only I could find out what the routhing number is, but really I don't now. I have the money to pay them I just can't get around their sadistic "rules". And when they find out my bank account is closed tomorrow I don't now what is going to happen.

are your loans store front or internet: internet
what state do you live in: Kentucky

Thanks in advance for your time.

Okay, first of all, don't stress out. The payday loan people aren't going to throw you in jail or anything.

What I would do is call them today and ask for either Moneygram or Western Union information. If you are willing to pay them and have the money, they should have no problem giving you that information. Just explain that you don't have a bank account - be firm with them about this as they will give you a hard time - and that the only way you can pay is WU or Moneygram. They all accept those.

I emailed them and informed them (in writing) that my account has been closed. Then I called them to make arrangments for payment of the balance. I have yet top get anyone on the line. I left messages for 4 of the 6 people listed on the phone tree. I will try to call them again in a moment.
I want to thank you for the work you all are doing. I have been stressing over this for the past week and haven't been able to find any kind of helpful info on the net, just more of the same vultures that want to take your money for some fraudulant 'service'. You will be rewarded for the work you are doing, hopefully with the fall of companies such as these that make their money by swindling the poor.

Thanks so much! I'll keep you updated on the progress.

Anya, 'Rosemary Church' is a spam-bot program that floods the boards every now and again. Used to post under the moniker of 'Clara Jones', too. The 'service' she/it is spamming for is an advance-fee loan scam. The kind where you send in a whopping large up-front payment in return for guaranteed approval on a loan you'll never see. I did some research on this particular scam a few months ago. My results are in the Getting a loan forum, IIRC, if you'd like to take a look. You'll have to dig for them, but they're there.

I am also having problems with them. I received a loan from them three years ago. They kept going into my account for fees. My credit union closed my accoung. I have not been able to reach anyone at B&L. Today they called me and threatened me and hung up on me when I told them I couldn't pay today. I tried to get information previously so I could send them a payment. Today I don't have the money but I want to pay when I can. I don't know what to do at this point.

Monae, what state are you in? I had dealt with B&L Marketing as well. I had a 300 loan with them and had paid back the 300 plus hundreds more, they also threatened me and so forth. They were actually one of my first Paid in full letters when I started telling them I was filing complaints on them (thanks to this site) but I also live in a state where it is prohibited.
