Credit report question - LVNV Funding LLC in credit report

How long does it take a debt collector to put an entry on your credit report? Lets say they send the information to Experian about a debt, when Experian gets that information, does it take days weeks months?
lvnv funding llc is on my 3 credit reports as a date opened on 5/2005. They did not open up business until
4/13/2005.
It just does not seem logical that they had enough time to acquire this debt and report it, they only had 48 days from date of opening to the month they reported.

I'm not an expert in this area, so I could be wrong, but I think
I'm not an expert in this area, so I could be wrong, but I think that they could have reported it with a date opened of 5/05 even if they didn't actually report it until sometime later than that. I'm sure that someone else with more knowledge in this area will be along soon with more information, so hang in there!
