I believe the Federal debt relief System is the perfect scam because when the credit card companies, collection agencies and banks start suing you (like they are me!!) The federal debt relief system or FDRS.org is not responsible. And since they are dealing with people with money problems there is little risk for them getting sued. Fortunately my brother in-law is an attorney so he is taking my case. Unfortunately, the company is set up in a way that it????????s hard to go after them so I'm suing this lady Veronica who ???????enrolled me???????, but something is better than nothing.

I've never used FDRS, myself. But...I HAVE read different opionions, about them, on the forum. I don't think anyone TRULY "hates" ANY company. People just post the experience they have had with different ones. Not ALL companies work for everyone. I've posted a few negative experiences, with certain companies....yet, they 'work' for other people.

The BBB gave this company [Federal debt relief System] a rating of "F", what does this rating mean?

It takes time for the Federal Trade Commission ,The California State Attorney General as well as other state attorney generals, and the FBI to build enough evidence to go after them. Trust me though it is only a matter of time before they are shut down and sued.
BBB
What does an F rating with the BBB mean? Nothing. My business has an F rating and I have one complaint. The BBB is not a government intity. They make you pay to join or they will give you a bad grade. Extortion. I am with Fdr now because my sister used them and got out of debt. When I started I had some problems too with getting them. The guy told me they had to hire a whole big client care division because they got so big so fast. Now it's alot better. I always get someone now. I asked the guy. He said people don't do what they are supposed to then they complain and blame them. The trick is to do it like they tell you. It's not hard. Why do they only have 45 complaints in almost 5 years and they have an F? Extortion. Looks to me like the better you are the more people attack you. I will post good or bad on here then and will post when I am done. Maybe all these bad things are being posted by their competitors ho can't get you out of debt as good or by banksor bill collectors. I learned so much from their website and from the DVDs they send every month. My husband invites his friends over to watch them every time we get one. If you are in the program just make sure you do the things they tell you. The BBB site says they refunded a lot of people's money. How could they be a scam? Just sour grapes.
Here's a quote for you that reminds me of this situation:
"When a true genius appears in the world, you will know him by this sign. A confederacy of dunces will rise in opposition to him." Johnathan Swift
Well thats not it exactly, but pretty close and it appears that the "dunces" have come out of the woodwork on this one. Too bad that the dunces will probably keep a lot of people from getting out of debt by saying these guys are a scam. Good going.....if you like what the credit card companies are doing to people and ruining lives. You are helping the banks bleed us.

Believe what you want but every one knows this is a scam and that is why the other debt termination companies out there have already been shut down and FDRS is next.
FDRS has an F rating and bad reputation for several reasons.
20 of the 44 complaints with the BBB are unanswered which means they ignore the complaint brought to them from the BBB as opposed to trying to resolve the issue. They also have lots of complaints from rip off report.com and tons of other sites. Just Google the name " Federal debt relief System " and see what pops up. Also Google the words " Debt Termination ". There are tons of articles exposing this scam.
Any company that pretty much does all its advertising on government conspiracy web sites like Genesis Communications Network can't actually be trusted.
Mobile
Yeah and I read the other forum which is now locked. Good thing. It looked like it was getting out of hand with everyone just insulting each other and not getting anything done. I have to say I agree with the guy that said Mobile looks pretty fishy. He's everywhere and has so much info about where to file conplaints. Must be a bill collector or a competitor whose program doesn't work. I will let everyone know how mine goes. So far I'm impressed. I as worried at first and still am a little. It's scary, but it worked for my sister. I will try to get her to post onm here. But she runs a daycare so it's hard for her. Her debt was like $18,000 but mine is a lot more. But back to the subject. Why is Mobile so obsessed with them unless he works for the banks or has a program that can't work?? I also noticed people assume a lot that they really don't know. Taht's too bad for people who could use them to get out of debt. Oh ... and guess what else I found out. One of the owners of the BBB in SoCal also owns a debt consolidation comany!! Maybe he's Mobile?

Actually your suspicions are correct . I am one the the Illiminatti , Neo Conservative ,Knights Templar, FreeMason ,Skull and Bones , reptilian lizard people from your government conspiracy websites and books from David Icke , Alex J o n e s show & Genesis Communications Network and FDRS's own forum. I own the corrupt Federal Reserve and Council on Foreign Relations I am trying to start a new world order with a One World Government and FDRS is the only thing stopping me from taking over the world. I will get you Mark Cella and your little dog too. Waaahaaahaaa haaa haaa
Again
See? Well it's happening again. no real, constructve feedback. Well I don't know the guy ( David Ickes) or the TV show that he (Mobile) mentioned but I do know who Dr. Carroll Quigley is and he talks about the new world order. But that's beside the point I will hope this one stays open because I will post about everyting that happens and when I finish if anyone is really interested. Sounds like this forum is just for people who want to trash the company because they are bill vollectors or something.

Oooh You got me. Everyone here knows that I am not a bill collector. I have worked in the credit card , credit counseling and debt settlement industry for years. Bill collectors hate me.
Before you accuse some one better do home work on the subject.I have done a ton of research on the Federal Reserve and our current fractional banking system. I agree that the Federal Reserve is a big scam as well as the IRS however the laws currently back these private corporations so until you vote in office politicians like Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich that would change the laws we will have to live with our current monetary and banking system. The courts do not recognize FDRS's crazy " no money lent " legal arguments because it is total nonsense.

Mobile is a good guy with experience in the industry & I guess I am a bill collector too since I don't buy into this Cult kool aid they are trying to peddle. We here on the forum try to help everyone sort through the good & bad of companies. The last topics were locked because yahoos wanted to do personal attacks instead of providing feed back.If people desire to keep this one open, mind your darn manners.
Ron Paul
I agree with Mobile about Ron Paul. That's one good thing. Also, yeah I figured you guys closed that last thread because people were just insulting each other and that doesn't help.
But I would like to post my experiences anyway no matter what happens in the program I will tell good bad or whatever. Actually at first I was upset with them because it was hard to get a customer service but now I almost always get them or at least they call back. Also I'm not a sports fan but my husband is and also a frank zappa fan which I like some of his stuff cuz it's funny but some of the stuff drives me nuts!! So my husband would probably get along with Mobile cuz they agree on politics and with Wulf 'cuz they like zappa. But we have two kids and I don't like them to hear some of the songs that guys sings. But the program did work for my sister. She had to go to court which she totally freaked out about. But the legal team sent her papers to fill out and file and that was it. my debt is way more than hers so I'm scared but I open all my mail and do everything they tell me. After about 3 months a credit repair company contacted me and I didn't even know that was part of the deal but I guess it is. They said it's included in the program and paid for by fdrs. I asked the guy at fdrs if that was true and he said yes. He said "yes we pay for it...with your money." So I thought that was cool. Anyway I looked at the BBB which my husband says the BBB is a scam. Is that true? anybody know? Well they only have 42 complaints and 15 unanswered and in some cases it says they refunded the people's money so I really don't know how that is a scam? I will keep everyone posted a tell you how it goes. My husband was laughing because he agreed with something someone said on the other blog about a sports team but I don't know which one. I had to listen to him sing the zomby wolf song all day thats to wulf!!

FDRS is nothing but a scam. Do not do business with this company
FDRS is nothing but a scam. Do not do business with this company. They promised to eliminate my credit card debt by contesting the creditors in federal court. I signed up paid them $2,000 out of $8,000 over the coarse of 3 months and they did not even send one letter of dispute to any of the 7 different credit card companies I am in debt to. They told me to fax all statements to them with dispute numbers and addresses, which I did for three months. I even faxed a copy of all my credit cards to them. Veronica Rengal kept telling me she needed specific info on certain cards and I would always fax them to her. On 08/08/08 She told me they did not have info on any of my accounts. The answers she gave me lead my to believe this company is a scam. I told her to cancel my account. She said I had to do it in writing. I accused them of being a scam and Veronica Rengal did not deny it. If anyone has had any dealing with FDRS please contact me at xxxxxxxxxxxx I would like to initiate a class action suit against them and get them shut down so they can not rip any one else off.

FDRS and its retarded sister CCDN are both scams. I was a part of the program for 10 months until last Friday when I went to court after being sued by one of my creditors. Tracy Webster at CCDN (the legal team) is only accessible through e-mail and is unresponsive to urgent requests for dealing with court proceedings. He also is very incomplete in his replies when he does decide to respond to an e-mail. They cost me $7000 before I quit the program and now am filing bankruptcy. DON"T GET INVOLVED WITH THESE THIEVES!

Some scam! Five years in business and only 45 complaints????? That's an awesome record. I wish everyone I did business with was that good. As for those who got a few months into the program and then quit. What do you expect? It's just like the guy over there told me that most complaints come from people who don't live up to their written contract then want to blame FDRS. It's like taking your car in to get it fixed and then going back a couple days later while they're still working on it and taking the car and then complaining that it doesn't run. So why are almost all their complaints resolved or refunded? Why only 45 complaints? Why do a handful of people seem to have so much personally invested in convincing everyone it's a scam? I KNOW at least on person it worked for.]   Ask yourself who has the most to gain by trashing them? Bankers, collectors and competitors. If this is a scam, I will be the first to post saying that it is.     :!: :D

Great Tina you have people telling us they lost a whole bunch of money and you keep backing up the company. Really nice, people if you were scammed or feel you were gop after these people. contact the state AG and put them out of business. FDRS does not offer debt settlement. It offers ridiculous debt termination services. Their scam is based on the bogus "no money lent" argument, where the claim is made that credit card banks cannot loan money legally. Therefore, you don't really need to pay anything back. You just have to follow their system and the debts will go away because the banks don't want this knowledge disclosed to the public! I know is sounds retarded but they convince people to buy into this crap.

I signed up with FDRS in December...my initial monthly payment was way more than what they quoted me. I send faxes, they don't reply they get them. I make phone calls and wait on hold forever. I was repeatedly reassured that I wouldn't get sued. I got papers from Discover card on Friday afternoon that say they are suing me. I called FDRS and the woman I talked to said she didn't 'think' they could put a lien on my house. "Think?" That's not good enough for me...when i dug deeper, they haven't replied to the creditors like they said they would. They have taken almost $10,000 of my money and done nothing...except get me a lawsuit which they aren't going to defend.
FDRS
I was not only slapped with one, but TWO lawsuits today from creditor FDRS assured me would not sue. One even goes as far as to say they will put a lien on my mortgage...the FDRS gal said she didn't think they could do it, but offered NOTHING else for me. Refer to the legal department! They sent me a form letter to fill out, which is BS and nothing but a stall tactic. I can see it by reading....and the legal department person who sent it isn't a lawyer.
FDRS
I'm trying to decide whether to sign up with FDRS. I gave them my SS#, DL# and Mother's Maiden name, but haven't completed signing up yet. Now what I've read here is scaring me. What can they do with all my personal info? Identity theft? And if I go through with signing up, I will be faxing them my credit card statements.
How's it going with the couple of people who sounded positive with their experience of being in the FDRS program?
Thank you,
Deborah :(

FDRS Scam
LOL!!! Tina M is either Mark Cella or someone who works for him. He uses that very rhetoric about the BBB being owned by someone that has a debt consolidation company.. If it's true, what's the owners name? What's the name of his company? Come on "Tina" what is it?? LOL... Mobile, you are sooooooooo right about these guys. By the way, they don't HAVE a legal team, everyone knows they have been resellers for CCDN and are trying to screw them over by setting up their own team of lawyers across the nation and most clients DON'T have a lawyer representing them. If they think they do, it's probably Tracy in the CCDN office. I'm wondering how one lawyer in one state can represent all of these clients?? LOL! Hey "Tina", what's the name of your company?
FDRS does NOT have ONE SINGLE client that has made it through their program. They are so unorganized they can't make a dent in the mess they have created for all of these customers.
Mobile, my friend, I'm sure that we will see each other sometime turning in documents or evidence at the Attorney General's office.
This is not about trying to hurt anyone at FDRS (except the scum that is scamming many trusting Americans) it's about protecting my fellow citizens from this lie! Yes the Federal Reserve prints money backed by nothing. Mobile, since you own it, can i have a few bucks? =) Yes, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act is in place to protect consumers against the devious practices of many collectors, thank goodness. But FDRS is not equipped to help you. They DO NOT have a legal team in place, they are resellers for CCDN and they also do not have a good reputation.
Don't believe me, or the posters here? Just search FDRS scam, or FDRS fraud and see what comes up. Or check out rip-off report.
Look, if anyone wanted to believe, it was me. I too, got burned!
FDRS Scam, continued.
Now this is REALLY funny! I can only think of one person that thinks that Mark Cella and his seedy LITTLE operation are "genius" and that's Mark Cella.
Copied this quote from one of your other posters that I am certain is Mark Cella or works for him.
"When a true genius appears in the world, you will know him by this sign. A confederacy of dunces will rise in opposition to him." Johnathan Swift
What a joke!
BTW, there is no "sister" that completed the program, as NO ONE has yet to complete their program. The only positive comments, posts, etc are coming from employees of FDRS or Mark Cella.
Sad that they would use all of the energy and time to scam people.
Thank you Mobile and others for helping to educate people about this terrible scam. Preying on vulnerable people and lying/offering hope that does NOT exist is just cruel. I'd go so far as to say EVIL!
fdrs
Let me enlighten you alittle I googled FDRS just to see what would come up (WOW) wish i would have looked into it better before i started their program. I have sent a complaint to BBB, and I am working with the FBI, and another attorney now, because I was scamed by FDRS for 6 months and I did do all that they told me to do, I even have them caught taking money out of my bank account with out permission after I closed my account with them (THEFT AND FRAUD) but hey if it is working for you, you are one lucky S.O.B

I have seen their contracts from a client I enrolled who was ripped of by them. FDRS charges 30% of the debt you owe up front and also a monthly maintenance fee of $25 dollars each month you are in their program. So for example if you owed $30,000 dollars in credit card debt , for a small fee of only $9,000 they can magically make the debt disappear.
STAY AWAY FROM FDRS
I just cancelled my account. I too racked up a mountain of credit card debt and thought that FDRS was an answer from God Himself. I could not have been more wrong.
First off, let me start off by saying yes I should have researched the company BEFORE I signed up, but I was so desperate and on the verge of a Chapter 7 that I jumped at the opportuniy that FDRA spun. The guy on the phone "Bruce" sounded like he knew exactly what he was talking about and made it sound so real and exciting and made me feel that the credit card companies forced me into this debt. I ask numerous questions and he actually said that he wasnt sure if they wanted to do business with me...a very sneeky tactic to make me feel anxious and jump at the opportunity...which, unfortunately, I did and I am worse off now than I was before I stopped paying my credit cards (which could have almost been paid off by now.)
So, I stopped paying the cars...the collectino calls started. Day after day and night after night. Calls, letters and more calls and more letters. I started to get concerned that the porgram was not going to work, so I called to speak to "Bruce" after trying to cancel my account (which they make you feel very self conious and guilty about doing.) They told me that he no longer worked there...this happened to 3 others that I spoke with as well.
Needless to say my dumba$$ moved forward with the porgram. I went and spoke to an attourney yesterday about some concerns I had and he told me that even though they say they will eliminate the debt legally that what they are doing may not carry 100% legality and could possibly land them in some hot water.
To sum it up...I am being sued by Capital One and constantly harrased by a collection firm from the other card. I went to see if I filed for a Chapter 7...and unfortunatley I failed the means test and I will nto do a Ch 13..no way.
Even though this is a civil case and there is not much that they can do if you have nothing, as in my case, the material is time sensative and because of them failing to get back to me on the summons and what not for the law suit I almost got a default judgment against me.
Listen, these people are working for someone who cares nothing for anyone but himself. He is out to use the American People's lawfull protection and rights to make a profit. They dont really care how stressed you are and they dont give 2 craps if the program works for you. They have used every sneaky tactic in the book to make sure their a$$es are covered. It even says that they cant gauruntee the program will work. And I can tell you this...it wont. I did EVERYTHING they asked...down to the finest detail and they even told me that I would NOT have to go to court..which is complete BS lie...I have to be in court on the 25th of Feb if I dont try to settle...which I am going to.
If you are considering FDRS or any other crap debt elimination firm, stop and do some research on settling debt...especially if a collection agency has bought out your "bad debt." After I did my own research I found out that I can do EXACTLY what these people do for FREE!!!!!!!
Educate yourself, do research and stay away from these crooks and criminals. Its sad the the employees of this comany work there. They are contributing to the further corruption of legal and financial systems.
I made the debt, I paid with the card knowing that I could not afford the stuff. Do the interest rates suck...yeah. And the fees suck as well. But I made my bed and I will lay in it. I am going to take responsibilty for my accounts and pay them back.
Now are there ways out...sure. You can attempt to dispute..but do it on your own. You are pissing away money with these people.
Check out the BBB and Google...everyone has been scammed by these people. I am not going to say the program might not work for some, but think about. A little extra work on your part and you can do this yourself without giving up over $4,000 that you wont see a dime of like I did.
RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNN!!!
I have kept every single piece of documentation that I have sent or recieved from these people and I even have copies of their web site when it was still up for proof becaus now its GONE!!!!!! They are no longer taking new enrollments and rumors say they are being investigated by the State of California and I smell a civil law suit cooking for them.
I am consulting my lawyer because I would LOVE to see the owner of this company dealt with by the legal system...not sure if it will work though.
If you have had a bad experience...write every congressman you can...write your Mayor, the US Congress, Treasury, Consumer Rights Agency, FBI...anyone and everyone!!!!
I hope to have a web site up in the next few months dedicated to exposing this criminal!!! I will post EVERYTHING from my experience with FDRS...EVERYTHING!!!!!!
There are no shortcuts...there are those of you who are looking for a way out due to circumstances far beyond your control and I sympathize with you, but you would be better off filing a Ch 7 and starting over these days.
Thanks, and please PLEASE think and research before you hire these loons!!!!
