awesome mary,you are right.all MTE d/b/a's operate like that.they are on indian land therefore the laws don't apply to them.unfortunatley for them my AG doesn't agree with that and neither do several other AG's.

ameriloan is part of MNE, not MTE. There are 3 different groups that operate using indian reservations. All three are seperate and use different tribes to hide behind.

Yes, it is . . . . They have been looked at by a few states, and all those state's have taken action against the companies.

Thank you goudah. I have been pretty silent on this one because as you remember, I created quite a stir when I suggested that ameriloan was not part of MTE. I think that UsFastCash is also affiliated with MNE as they carried the same address and use the same processor and bank, as their originator. They all are "hiding" out on the reservation and "renting" space, so to speak but there is a different head organization for different groups of PDLs. I guess in the end, they are all doing the same thing. . . taking advantage of the people who are less likely to be able to repay under there terms. I was fortunate in that I was able to get them off my back relatively quickly and for nothing more than what they deposited into my account.

Yeah, I'd always just though they were all the same because it had been said so many times on the board, but I'd never dealt with any of them, so I'd never really looked into it until you brought the question up.
