Hello all,
I thank God that I came across this site! I currently have 8 PDL's and I just want to get out of this mess for good! Here is the breakdown:

Storefront
1. Ace Cash Express: $600; Paid: $0 (new loan; just paid off previous loan and got another-really needed money)
2. Z Cash: $400; Paid: over $1000!! (they have been debiting my account for $100 every two weeks since February!)

Internet
1.Payday One: $450; Paid: $272
2.One Click Cash: $300; Paid: $90
3.CashNet USA: $500; Paid: $0 (recently paid off a loan with them; forgot to contact them to refinance the loan so they took the whole amount out of my account; got another loan)
4.PaydayMax: $400; Paid: $0 (same story as CashNetUSA)
5. Nationwidecash.com: I think $400; Have paid about $300 (My internet banking is down right now and when I logged into the Nationwidecash account, it just tells me that I have an outstanding loan and to contact them regarding payment arrangements)
6.mycashnow.com: $110; Paid: $0 (not due until 7-3)

I have read through several posts and I have gotten a lot of good information but it's a bit scattered. I just need to know what to do step by step starting from the beginning. Please help me, I want to get out of this...it's becoming hard to pay my other bills because I'm trying to make sure these loans are paid. It's like a never-ending cycle. Thanks in advance for any assistance you can offer!!

Hello and welcome to the community! :) Let's see what we can do to help you. I will post your state laws, then we can go over the different pdl's and try to figure out whether they are legal/licensed or illegal/unlicensed. Hang tight while I research some of these. Meanwhile I will post the Payday loan laws for Texas here (just select your state),Also, check HERE to see if they are licensed. The thing is, you want to make sure none of these are CSO's (Credit Services Organizations).

You may need to close your account to stop these ipdl's from debiting your account, if that isn't an option, then you'll need to place a hard debit block on that account. Please READ HERE first before you close your account.

If these store front pdl's are members of the CFSA, you have the option of evoking the EPP (Extended payment plan), that allows you to pay off these loans (the store fronts) in 4 equal payments on each payday. You have to request the EPP before the date they are due, at least one day in advance.

Paydayone, is fairly easy to work with and they are licensed, at least they were for me. What you will need to do is email or send a letter certified return receipt through USPS explaining to them you are unable to continue paying them one lump sum, and you need to set up a payment arrangement with them. In this letter, you will want to revoke the following, ACH transaction, wage assignments, and also cease and desist contact with you other than through emails or USPS. That is a quick break down of how you will need to proceed.

Thanks Shazzers for the info. I checked to see if the companies were licensed in Texas and only one, Ace Cash Express is licensed.

Question: If I place a hard debit block on my account will that prevent all PDL's from debiting my account? Also if I close my account can I reopen a new one at the same time and will the PDL's be able to access this new account?

For the storefront, Z Cash, can I use the same method of sending a letter including the ACH revoktion, cease and desist, and wage assignment or do they work a bit differently from the online PDL's? I have a payment coming up next Tuesday and they have received above and beyond the amount they loaned to me (~$600 over). How can I get a refund on this money?

You would contact the ACH processor for any company that is operating illegally. You wouldn't want to do this with the legal ones, it could make them mad and since they could potentially sue you, you don't want to make them mad like that.

One Click Cash, Nationwide, and my cash now are not CSO's and are not licensed pdl's in Texas.

I took out a PDL with Ace Cash Express back in May.... Every month, I paid it off and got a new loan. In August, my husband left and closed the bank accounts. The check that ACE retained (blank and unsigned) bounced. ACE is now calling me and telling me that they are going to file THEFT OF CHECK charges on me. Can they do this?? I always paid my debt with them but under recent circumstances I am having some trouble.
