My company has found that trying to collect by letters and phone calls is maybe 10% as efficient as confronting the debtor in person. I travel to different areas and personally help debtors to open their wallets.

People try to hide behind "validation," but when I get in their face and ask them, "what are you going to do to pay your debt," that validation bravado gives way to a sheepish, "here's the money I owe."

Thats funny you say that. I had a local collector call me a few times and I showed up on his doorstep. After about a 10 min persuasive conversation with him he never called me again and all collections were dropped. I applied your heavy handed tactics in reverse. Of course I can't do that if it is some bozo thats located in another state or country but unfortunately for this guy he was easily accessible to me.

By the way I know your post is BS. Nobody goes door to door anymore unless you only loan local and even then it is very very rare.
