I'm thinking about signing up with Langhorne debt solutions. Not sure yet....I want to check them out first because I don't want to get ripped off. Does anyone have the license number available for this company? It's not indicated on their website. I want to make sure that they have a valid license to operate in the state of California. Also, any experiences on Langhorne would greatly be appreciated so that I can make a final decision on whether or not I should retain their services. Thanks, everyone. :)

I considered Langhorne when I was at the desperate point of the PDL saga. After speaking with them at length, I told the gentleman I spoke with that I needed more time to "work" out the details, financially, and he read me the riot act about wasting his time. I felt that he was extremely rude and not very sympathetic. He also informed me that the "owner" of the business was a former PDL attorney and he knew the ropes of how to go about getting my situation settled. I didn't like the way my money would be handled as far as the PDLs were concerned and I really didn't like the fact that even though I had already repaid what I borrowed back, I would still need to send the PDLs at least $150 more to get them off my back. I didn't like the upfront fees and when all said and done it was going to cost me upwards of $2000 to settle what I had already repaid. I took the bull by the horns, and cleared all my PDLs for what I borrowed, and in two instances for substantially less than what I borrowed. This is a process that can be time consuming but it can be done on a pesonal, individual basis. Bottom line is, I didn't like giving any more of my hard earned money to the PDLs and given the fact that Langhorne had an on board, former PDL person, they didn't seem much better for trying to take advantage of my financially situation just as the PDLs did. Of course, the decision is yours, but my experience was not a favorable one. Good luck with your decision and keep us posted.

I agree LLW, I called both langhorne and PDL Assistance and they told me the same thing about settling for more money that I didn't even owe. On the other hand some have used Langhorne and PDL Assistance and they HAVE gotten results, so the choice is yours Tracey. It depends on if you are willing to pay someone for something you can do yourself. Also, if you go with these PDL settlement companies, there is a possibility you might receive calls at work and your home. They will even tell you that themselves.
