I'm wondering if I should keep sending payments to MTE through my debt management program or stop until I hear from a collection agency. A few more payments and the $300 will be paid off.

Well I just sent my second complaint to the BBB in regards to MTE. I asked them to validate that they are liscened to do business in my state and their state. We will see what response they give. I paid them $238 so far and my loan was for $300. I told them I am willing to pay the remaining $62 to equal the $300 and then they are getting cut from my consolidation program.
