Dismissed with prejudice

My case was dismissed with prejudice, If the debt is sold to another debt collector, can they sue me ?


first congrats on that,second no you can't be sued again.if they sell the debt the CA can try to collect,but they can't sue
on it again.

Thanks for your reply, The case was dismissed because the lawyer showed up with no proof of the debt he was hopping I wasn't going to show up. The judge gave him 20 minutes to make some phone calls to produce something and he came back and told the judge he didn't have anything. as far as the stibulation all it says dismissed with prejudice. My advice, show up in court and request a discovery when you send your answer, 99% of the time they will not be able to produce a contract. these debt collectors hope that you will not show up so they can get a default judgment and garnish your wages, you have to fight back .

good going guest,a good example of a bottomfeeder trying to
get a default judgement.i think you are safe.save the document
because i almost know you cannot be sued again.
