Okay, so I just got off the phone with Cash Today again. These people are driving me crazy. I am getting the run around and they keep passing me to people with names like Mark Andy, Victor Leopard (supposed manager), Jerry Adams (supposed floor manager). They state that they do not have to send a letter of validation because it was a verbal agreement and they cannot provide a contract. And of course they have no record of receiving my faxes. So I am getting ready to send the letter via certified mail tomorrow. So what is next if they do not sign for it at their Reno, NV address? Can I sue them? There has to be something we can do about this company...They are ridicilous. I have also filed a complaint with the FTC. Can they hold you to a verbal contract like that. Wshen do we supposedly agree to a UK loan during this whole process. Excuse my language, but this is BS.

Hi Htgt123

Cash Today like any other business enterprise is required to provide a written statement showing your financial transaction and the accurate loan amount. If they don't send it, they are not doing legal business.

Send your debt validation request to the Reno address. If the letter is not picked up, you will get the receipt returned with failure delivery. But it will prove that you actually tried to contact the company in paying towards the account.

Moreover, this company will never take the matter to the court because they are not doing legal business and they know that can be sued on many grounds. So, keep your proof in place and take legal actions against them.

Do let us know if you have any problems in between.

Regards
Roxette

So do you think they will place it on my credit report?

Keep a constant check on your credit report. If they ever hit, you have to dispute with them. Negative information will lower your scores and you need to maintain your financial worthiness. In the meantime, let us get some solid ways to deal with Cash Today since they are too much shady

I took out a $200 loan and have paid over $500. They continue to tell me that I owe over $400. I want that in writing. I do NOT trust them. I want something in writing telling me what the full balance is. I have a feeling if I did pay them the $400 then they would come back saying I owe something else. They contacted my supervisor and she told them that this was harrassment, illegal, and was filing a complaint. So far they haven't called, everyone at my work though tells them that I am not working when they did call.

Diamonds

Give it a legal effect in front of the company. Ask Cash today to give you the statement summary that will give the accurate picture of this account.

Any company doing legal business will issue a monthly statement and there should never be a problem regarding this.

Send your letter through certified mail with return receipt requested so that you have a proof of your communication made. This way you will be able to prove that you requested for the statement which the company failed to produce.

I would recommend when you are sending out certified letters to go by the post office and pickup the forms. I would also put that certified number on your letters that are sent out. Make sure you keep a copy of the letter and when the return receipt comes back staple it to the letter. This way it shows what letter was sent when. Just a suggestion!
