Of course you know that they can't garnish without a court order, rather use a wage assignment, and it looks like you are already going to revoke that, so I would say you are on the right track! Send them a validation letter certified return receipt, asap! CLICK HERE for a sample letter!

This company did garnish my wages and I had a few chances to pay infact I wish I would have I had got two payday loans and it was for a total of 590 now I have to pay about 1600 .....to make things worse I then got a letter from them for my hsbc account that I fell behind on ...this time I made a payment

This company did get a garnishment on my check I'm paying over 1600.00 for a 550 loan....I'm kickinng myself for not making payments...even though they can get nasty on the phone I wish I set up a plan instead of paying back so much..to make things worse I also have a credit card with them I was lucky ms.houton who works there was very understanding and helped me work out payments....to anyone having issues I strongly incourage you to talk to ms. Houton she at least listend to my issue and set me up on payment

I settled with them after getting all the particulars on the company. They were very reluctant to give me the information until I said that I would work with them but I had to know who they were. The ONLY reason I settled was because they were threatening to garnish my wages. I settled for 40% of the total only because I knew that a lot of it was late fees, interest and a lot of other fees. They are nasty at first and didn't believe I would settle with them but once they realized I was serious they backed off.

i was at work when my boss told me that i had a sheriff in the lobby needing me..i was served papers on a debt that i owed to pdm....it was on a credit card i had not paid in over a year..pdm had a civil case on me the card was for 1200 and after all said and done i will be paying 3800.00 i cant understand that but i called pdm to try and work a deal out and they couldnt....it sux!! to everyone out there they do garnish you pay check and to make metters worse they got all the money out of a bank account i was on with my sister and it cleared her account out!! i should of made payments but to be honest i didnt want to at the time now i want to ..now that its too late...lesson learned..i too hate them!!

i just got my check cut in half because i didnt make payments to this company!! i now am paying almost 3 times the amount i charged on my credit card!! i am a single mom and work two jobs and have a hard time as it is now i think that im gonna have to just work alot more overtime! i called them back to see if by any chance they can work with me and a woman said that she wished she could but they no longer can ..i really am kicking myself for not working something out!!

You are so right! I called them today after I did my own investigating on the internet because they were calling my job, threatening to SUE my employer, telling me that they would charge a fee on any payment arrangement I made (20.00 for every 50.00 payment) and after I hung up I started googling their phone number and it seems they are scammers! I was hung up on repeatedly when I would question them. I called them back and asked for their address which they would not provide me with. I also asked them if I could pay by money order and was told NO. THEN, what topped the cake off was when I asked for DV letter. I was told, "you can keep the money for all I care, it's not worth it!" WHAT?! The gentleman told me that it wasn't worth it for him to print out the letter and put a stamp on the envelope.
And to all the collectors on here making up bogus stories of how you missed that WONDERFUL opportunity to pay them. Get real. Get a life. I will NOT be harassed, mistreated, yelled at, hung up on and disrespected. You gets NO money. Have a nice day! =)
