No, the SOL does not start all over again. The SOL is calculated from your date of last payment on the account.
CA's can legally attempt to collect on the debt.....the debt is still valid. However because the SOL has run out, they cannot sue you.

Thanks SoapLady! I am stumbled across this forum and it has been really helpful. How can I prove that the SOL has run out? Can I dispute these accounts to have them removed from my credit report? I saw an example of a verification letter in another thread. Is that the first step? Or, should I dispute the account with CRA's? Thanks, again:)
