Oh my Gosh...Just Look what I found out...
According to BBB, American debt relief has a F - rating.

Ms.-Informed
The rating of "F" is not for First American debt relief, it is for American Debt Relief, Two seperate companies. You dont know who I am and i dont care who you are but i know for a fact that you were not talked to that way. Companies, such as First American Debt relief, or American Debt Relief, obtain information from your credit card companies once you have reached around 20,000 dollars owed to the credit card companies. Legally when you sign up for a credit card not paying them gives them the right to give your debt owed, information, and credit score to companies such as this because you are in a position where you could uses there service, whether you like it or not. The Author of this page has no clue what he is talking about and is obviously bitter he is more than 25,000 dollars in debt, so don't go blog about it, listen to what a professional has to say, because what you have to say means nothing because what you had to say lead you to be a quarter of 100 grand in debt. And whether you like it or not this so called **** is a professional and he is 100% right, if you dont use a debt settlement service you will loose everything. Next time your undies are in a bunch, research why your in.....um..... the position your in, dont blog about it hoping someone cares enough about you to respond. You made bad decissions, fell into debt, and now a company is offering you the best deal, because the company First American Debt Relief is the #1 debt settlement company, you should shut up and listen to **** ******* because he has all your information and is right. Its bad enough when someone is so ignorant that they deny help but it is down right stupid to turn it around and act like somebody has harmed you or broken your civil rights. If you don't want debt relief companies mailing you then spend within your means and don't get into debt. I would suggest calling them back, and see what they can do for you before, you throw a fit and complain about it on here. Hope you find a solution to your debt problem.

OMG!!! This thread is getting alittle bit scary. MRDEBTHELP..I have a question for you. Why would a member (and I don't believe YOU are...you ARE signed in as a GUEST) lie about her/his experiences with a so-called Debt Company? OH..I hate to disagree with you (NO..I REALLY don't) debt relief is NOT the #1 ranking company. According to a Google Search I did, it's very 'low on the totem poll' with ALOT of complaints. How DARE you tell someone to "shut-up?!" ( REALLY good 'business practice' there..huh?) OHHHHH..I forgot!! I MAY want ot say , MRDEBTHELP,..you might want to 'brush up' on your employees names. I DID call Debt Relief and asked for this so-called **** *******. Hate to tell ya, but...there is NO SUCH person!! Are you so badly rated that you have to make up names, too??!! How sad.

First American Debt Relief and Mr. **** *******
Mr debt help....does that name mean you work in the sttlement industry hmmmm?....I think you are Mr *******...The biggest crock is that credit card companies sell debt info to debt settlement companies who are the arch enemies of the credit card companies...More likely they are illegally receiving the info from the credit bureaus. Which would be fraud and federal crime for First American debt relief. I dug further into First American. They are only in business a few years. They are only a sales group. Probably marketing illegally. They have absolutely no state licenses I could find anywhere. They are unregistered in Florida, or any other state, and violate Florida law by mailing in Florida. They send their clients to Allegro Law,who was in bed with Hess Kennedy big time, which is also in trouble with Florida (See Hess Kennedy at the Florida Attorney Generals web site ).

Can someone on this blog tell me anything else or what to do
I found this blogging sight about First American debt relief and considered what to do whether to do business with them. I have checked out the Law firm Allegro and they don't have any complaints, however, First American is not signed up in the state of Alabama nor California. Can anyone shed some light?

90% of Debt Companies are getting shut-down in multible stat
As for FirstAmericanDebt Relief... Well, they're no deffrent then the last of the companies that got shut-down.
The problem is that they offer wishful services to potential clients. Nothing is guaranteed and should you askk them if they belong to the BBB they give you some non-sense explanation.
If you want to hear the rep studder...The only one question you should ask anyone of these companies is, "What is your sucess rate?" Meaning, How many clients finish the program and can you send me proof? If you don't laugh then obviously you dont have a sense of humor but it's true, only 1 out of every 100 clients will suceed..and they know this very well, if you dont believe it call the FTC and they'll tell you all about the law suites there so called attorney firms cant get themselves out of. What 's funny is that these attorneys dont even represnte you in court should you need the help...
So, why should you hire there services?
Everything they offer is something you can do for yourself or in most cases if you decide to settle with your creditors, dont worry just stop paying your monthly payments, and whatch for the very same settlement offers the so called debt settlement companies show up in your mail box. 20-80 percent settlements.
The other program they might offer is Debt Management What they do is contact your creditors much like you can if you pick up the phone and call them yourself. Should they want to lower you interest rates, good...you did it! if not dont worry these so called debt relief companies cant do anything either.. the trick is miss two payments then call them and tell you cant afford to make payments anymore and walla "debt managent" all on your own, but if they dont give you the time and day, trust me, dont worry.. First American Debt Relief cant do anything either. Well,, maybe they can do something.. RIP you Off.
Oh wait, should you already be enrolled, and now you are convinced like myself and many riped off clients, unless you pick up the phone and call them every day they wont give you any money back.
My advice to you. RUN !@#@$$% RUN! Before the sharks get you.

According to the Ca. Sec. of State Mr. Ritchey is the owner of First American Debt Relief. I can tell you for a fact, that I am willing to prove, that [**** *******] Stole company information from a prior employer. That employer had Mr. [*******] arrested. They also buy data in violation of federal law from the credit bureau's and use that data for marketing. It is the only possible way they would know your debt to put in a mailer. I can also tell you for a fact that are are only middle men who do not service clients but send them to Allegro Law, which is currently under investigation by the state of Florida. They are paid a % of the retainer fees paid to Allegro law which is a violation. Lawyers cannot share retainer fees. This is why Fla. is investigating, along with Allegros connection to the Hess Kennedy Law firm.

[**** *******] is stupid and fat. He also stole clients from a different employer. I can prove all of that! I would run quickly from any company associated with [**** *******]. I beleive Mr. Ritchey has good intent. But, very poor judgement if he has [*******] working for him in any capacity. Rah Rah Guest above. Stay away from any company that works with Allegro or [*******]!

1st Am Debt Relief
Many thanks for all comments on this 1st American Debt company. I was considering giving them a call to help make my life wonderful again, but believe I'll stick to my own.
Defamatory Blogs
What Is Defamation?
Defamation is false and unprivileged spoken words or written publication, which exposes any living person to hatred, contempt, ridicule, or which causes him/her to be shunned or avoided, or which has a tendency to injure him/her in his/her trade or occupation.
For example, if a person or the news media says or writes something about you that is understood to lower your reputation, or that keeps people from associating with you, defamation has occurred. However, if someone says something false about someone who has died, as reprehensible as that may be, in most states it is not considered defamatory. No legal action can be taken on behalf of a dead person. Only a living person can be defamed.
Get a lawyer...
What if I change the person's name?
To state a defamation claim, the person claiming defamation need not be mentioned by name???the plaintiff only needs to be reasonably identifiable. So if you defame the "government executive who makes his home at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue," it is still reasonably identifiable as the president.
Do blogs have the same constitutional protections as mainstream media?
Yes. The US Supreme Court has said that "in the context of defamation law, the rights of the institutional media are no greater and no less than those enjoyed by other individuals and organizations engaged in the same activities."
What if I republish another person's statement? (i.e. someone comments on your posts)
Generally, anyone who repeats someone else's statements is just as responsible for their defamatory content as the original speaker???if they knew, or had reason to know, of the defamation. Recognizing the difficulty this would pose in the online world, Congress enacted Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, which provides a strong protection against liability for Internet "intermediaries" who provide or republish speech by others. See the Section 230 FAQ for more.
The vast weight of authority has held that Section 230 precludes liability for an intermediary's distribution of defamation. While one California court had held that the federal law does not apply to an online distributor's liability in a defamation case, the case, Barrett v. Rosenthal, was overturned by the California Supreme Court (EFF filed an amicus brief in this case)
blotting out names
Names blotted out make no difference in the amount of damage defamatory statements cause.
