Renegotiating a DMP

I have been in a dmp for one year now and am finding that my budget is being pushed to its limits. I am wondering if it is possible, once in a DMP, to renegotiate the minimum payments? I would like to stay in the program, I just need to get a bit of breathing room and reduce some stress!

Hi Erik ~ I don't see why you wouldn't be able to renegotiate you're minimum payments at this point. Who are you working with? I think it would be a good idea to call your counselor and see how all that works. I would imagine they will have to contact your creditors again to see if they will accept the new payment.
