This sounds like one of those scams where a bogus collection scares people into sending money via moneygram or western union. No, you cannot go to jail for this.
Did you get a loan with National Money Store? Was the principle paid off?
Tell them you are recording the phone call, reporting them to your AG, the BBB and the FTC regarding their collection tactics. Legally, they cannot threaten you, put you in jail for "fraud" and must provide written validation of debt. Ask them for a physical address.

Nevertheless, if this is a bona fide collection agency attempting to collect from you they should know the laws, and the law says that after their first initial contact with the debtor they have 5 days to send you a dunning letter, you need to tell them that the next time they call. At that time (after and IF you receive a dunning letter) you have 30 days to ask them to validate and prove this debt is actually yours.
