Midland credit management off my credit report!?!?

I figured I would give them one more shot so I disputed the entry 2 days ago and I looked today and they are off my credit report.... they just saved themselves some money cause I was going to sue them.
So what does this mean now that it is off and I haven't heard a response from them? Did they sell it to another company? Did they throw it away and give up?
Did you dispute on-line? Do not be surprised if it shows back u
Did you dispute on-line? Do not be surprised if it shows back up if you did. The CRA's have the ability to suppress disputed tradelines during an on-line dispute. It could still be verified and show back up or they could delete it and Midland re-reports it.
Yes I disputed it online all 3 times, Experian was the only repo
Yes I disputed it online all 3 times, Experian was the only report showing it. If it does show back up I will send MCM one letter stating they have not validated the debt and now face a lawsuit for violating the fdcpa and the FCRA.
Sounds about right, doesn't it?
Was your DV sent out within 30 days of recieving their INITIAL d
Was your DV sent out within 30 days of recieving their INITIAL dunning letter? If not, then they can still report as long as the notation - "Disputed by consumer - meets FCRA requirements" shows on the tradeline = no violation/lawsuit. I'd slow down a bit on the "I'm gonna sue you" nonsense. Get a better understanding on the FCRA and fdcpa. If you're going to start throwing them out, you should at least understand what you'e saying. Right now they'd eat you up and spit you out and the only end result is just another clog in a system already too full of frivilous lawsuits.
Learn the system first, then use it to your advantage. Multiple violations=leverage.
Yeah I sent the debt validation letter a few days after they fir
Yeah I sent the debt validation letter a few days after they first contacted me so it was within the first 30 days.
Thanks for the other advice. I have read up on the fdcpa but not as much on the FCRA. My best bet would be to hire an attorney if things get messy with them then.
I got my dispute results back today, DELEATED!!!! Does this me
I got my dispute results back today, DELEATED!!!!
Does this mean that Experian will share that information with the other 2 credit reporting agencies or is it up to me to dispute all 3?
