I sent out 8 letters on January 2 and have received 3 responses so far. 6 of the PDLs have been overpaid. Loan Point/Geneva Roth replied by e-mail that I should contact them. Cash Direct Express said their investigation should take 7 - 10 days. This is the response received from Integrity Advance who I have paid $1700 on a $500 loan.

We are responding to your communications with Integrity Advance, regarding your loan, which has a current balance of $260.00. We consider this to be a valid debt. Integrity Advance takes its obligations to comply with all applicable laws very seriously and expends significant resources to ensure this.

Integrity Advance makes short term consumer loans pursuant to licensure and regulation by the State of Delaware. Integrity Advance does not maintain a business location in New Jersey. Integrity Advance does not solicit customers in New Jersey. On advice of counsel, Integrity Advance maintains that the choice of Delaware law as controlling in the loan documents would be upheld, as all significant contacts in the loan transaction occur within Delaware .

Despite our position stated above, and without obligation to do so, in the interest of resolving this matter without escalation and further expense, we are willing consider this matter resolved once you have complied with the terms of the settlement offer below.

Their settlement is to mark my account PIF (and release me from the $260 they say I owe) and for me to sign a confidentiality letter. I have paid them over $1700!!!!!!
Should I just settle for PIF or go for PIF and refund? Looking for advice.

So far, i've paid $750 to them and still have a $500 outstanding loan. I borrowed $500 originally... the $750 is all finance fees. Does anyone know how I can get them to stop taking money out of my bank account?

Integrity is not known for the hardcore collections that most payday lenders use. Just close the account and forget them. They might try to call you a couple of times, but it's usually a customer service rep trying to reinstate you. They aren't the beat you over the head type of company.

I would demand what you overpaid. In my letter to one of my PDLs that I overpaid, I stated that I wanted repayment of the amount I paid over the principal. I received $475 3 days after they received my letters. It wouldn't hurt to demand payment..... nothing ventured, nothing gained.

okay, i borrowed $400 back in July - have paid back over $800 as of today. I think they are just going to keep taking money out of my checking account. it started out $120.00 and the last two have been $155 and $170. How does the payment change and when do they end. I've tried contacting this place and cannot get anyone to return my calls or emails. Is this some kind of scam?

There's only one way to stop them, and that's to close your account, otherwise they will never stop!
