From what I understand with most PDL's , you agree to voluntary wage assignment if you default. You need to revoke this in writing. Send multiple copies to the PDL's and give a copy to your payroll department.

Wage Assignment and Wage Garnishment are two different things.
Wage Assignment and Wage Garnishment are two different things. Wage Assignment is voluntary and can be revoked, Wage Garnishment is court ordered. Unlicensed, illegal pdl companies will have a difficult time garnishing your wages through a court order so that is why they have you sign a wage assignment as part of their contract.
Notify your payroll department that you are revoking any and all Wage Assignments they may receive.
