I signed up with langhorne and they all the necessary paper work out to my creditors, but i have gotten letters back from a few of them saying they don't deal with them. They are ameriloan, one click cash, and united cash loans. All are owned my clk management i'm told. now i spoke with langhorne and they said they settled with them in the past, but each of these places said they don't deal with them, has anyone on here used langhorne to settle with any of the places in the past.

I hope that's not the case because I have also signed papers with Langhorne and United Cash is one of my lenders. I just emailed by consultant to see if that's the case. I'm not going to pay for their services if they are unable to deal with the companies I have loans with.

I am so glad I found this - I was ready to sign with them as well. The whole program seemed a little shady to me as they take their money first? What if they don't settle - they are all ready paid how hard are they going to work with the companies when they have been paid first?

Has anyone had a good experience with them??

I'm in the process of going with them now. I spoke with them on the phone today and they said that if they weren't able to deal with any of the lenders they would have said something before I signed up. They do deal with United Cash loans. I think people have mixed reviews on any of the pdl consolidation companies. All I can say is I'm going to try it out. If it doesn't work then I can end the program. It beats getting hundreds of phone calls at work from these lenders who want their money. I'm still saving hundreds of dollars and a lot less aggravation. They said they contact the lenders within 5 days after they receive the first payment. My first payment comes out on the 2nd so I will let you know how it is going. I've seen a lot of people on the board who have had positive experiences with Langhorne. If you feel that you can't handle it on your own then it's worth looking into a settlement company.

I've made my first payment to them and the letters have gone out. The phone calls have slowed down a bit and any time any one of them call i simply tell them that i am working with langhorne and they will have to talk to them. the conversation usually ends there, but i did get letters from ameriloan, one click cash, and united cash loans saying they don't deal with them, but the people at langhorne told me they have in the past.

Ask Langhorne to prove to you that they have ever made a SINGLE payment on behalf on anybody to those companies...I assure you they can't

Well guest, I am a Moderator and I was just about to give my two cents worth, but first I want you to know that my opinion is solely my own and has not been influenced by anything else but MY own personal experiences and based on information I have gathered from other peoples experiences as well.

My opinion is this:

Illegal/unlicensed companies are not about to cooperate or negotiate with a debt settlement company because they ARE ILLEGAL! They obviously do NOT care about the law or they wouldn't be lending to people without being licensed nor would they be charging outrageous interest rates and fees. This is why (on a regular basis) I do not recommend that people who have loans with unlicensed lenders hire a debt settlement company. :)
JMO!

I wasn't aware that moderators rush in to defend any particular company. I don't always agree with the mods, but I haven't seen any such bias.

As for the idea of guests rushing in to defend the Langhornes or the PDL Assistances or the Oakviews, their speed is surpassed only by the haste with which other guests show up to try to discredit these companies on behalf of some payday lenders. In other words, Guest549, I'm just as certain you're shilling for CLK as you are that the other guests are shilling for Langhorne.

It would be nice to hear from people who have had success with Langhorne. For me, I chose to go with Langhorne because I currently have 7 pdl's and whether they are legal or illegal they will still constantly call and harass you for money. I borrowed the money and it is up to me to pay it back and I will. The finance charges with these pdl's are killing me and I cannot afford to pay them anymore. My fee with Langhorne is very minimal and actually less than the amount of loans I have at the moment. I work for local government and I cannot receive phone calls at work. I've been at my job too long to have them calling me every day. I think it's up to the individual and what they decide to to with their debt. I owe at least the principal amount of these pdl's. I received the money and I need to pay it back. I'm going to have faith in the fact that Langhorne will help me out of a terrible mess that I've created. It has hurt my family in the sense that I haven't been able to provide the things they need because my paycheck is eaten away by finance charges. Langhorne is a business, just like others out there, and they have to make money too.

WOW!!! How shocking that "FreakyFriday" and "Shazzers" picked up this thread in less than hour. It seems like these two are on almost every discussion. Either they don't have jobs and live on this website or they have some kind of inside connection...I'll let the members discuss and decide that one.

As for charges about illegal companies...I would like to see Langhornes, the PDL Assistances, etc., show us where they are licensed. I am sure that those guys are fully aware of the licensing requirements in almost all 50 states now regarding credit repair companies, which is what these guys are. Perhaps while they're at it, they could comment and defend themselves on all of the BBB complaints they are racking up by the day.

you know what pot stirrer.nobody has to explain a thing to a guest okay?so take a walk or next time your history.places like langhorn and PDL assistance serve the purpose of helping people out of the pdl trap when they don't have the time to deal with these illegals.not everybody has the time or energy to combat these bottomfeeders.again stir the pot you are gone,i've had enough of this with others people.nobody is affiliated or connected to these places.my question to you is what illegal bottomfeeding pdl do you work for?

Possibly a disgruntled ex-member? No matter, I am closing this thread as it has turned into a bashing fest.
