If I pay retainer to attorney, will creditor be more apt to file suit?

I'm tired of all the calls, so am thinking of paying an attorney a retainer fee so that I can direct calls to them. I'm afraid it will speed up the process of them filing suit against me and I won't have the rest of the money to file bk for another month or so. Any suggestions?
iF YOU PAY AN ATTORNEY ANYTHING THEN THE ATTORNEY THEN TAKES ALL
iF YOU PAY AN ATTORNEY ANYTHING THEN THE ATTORNEY THEN TAKES ALL THE CALLS AND EVEN IF THE CREDITOR FILES SUIT IT STOPS EVERYTHING.
