Hi vlamb,
They are a member of TASC, they should be ok. They must be a new company, there isn't much about them on Google.

GHS Solutions
My wife has been with them for a year now and they seem to be doing a good job. She had $47,000 in debt with BOA and Chase. My wife pays $897 a month to the account at Rocky Mtn. Bank for 30 months. The debts will go to collection firms and they will try calling you for about 6 months. Just use caller ID and don't answer. After 4 months of default and 6 months of collection agency calls. The calls will start dying out. Then GHS will settle with them. Save some money to pay taxes as the forgiven debt will count as income to the IRS. You will still have saved a bundle and be out of this mess sooner than you thought. Be patient. Call GHS like once a quarter for status on your account. One more thing, a lot of the collection calls will sound like they are from Law firms, bvu the are collection agencies.

They have a good reputation so you can go ahead with them.I must appreciate the step you have taken"second opinion".It always helps when the issue is related to the money so surely those who are need of good debt settlement they should approach the truthful debt settlement company only.
Go ahead>>>>>>>>>

Me and my husband have been with them for about over a year now and we just got served to show up in court next week for one of our creditors they hired a law firm. What will happen? Does GHS back you up when this happens?? We paid them over a thousand dollars so far to help deal with our creditors for us. Any answers or personal exp. would be great! Thanks Kelly

Hi Kelly,
It is highly unlikely that they will help you in court, except with a pat on the back and a "good luck".
First: double check with your county court if that is a real summons.
Here is some great info on responding to a summons. And a little more info about small claims court.
Who is the law firm, who is the original creditor, and who is the collection agency that the law firm is representing? What is the amount from the original creditor? What is the amount that the Collection agency is saying you owe? What is the amount that they are trying for judgment (if that is a real summons)?

Keep in mind that settlement companies will not go to court with you. Hopefully they told you that you CAN get sued during settlement.?? Usually unlikely if you choose a short term program but it can happen.??
Keep this in mind the judges frown apon these companies when they take you to court they feel the creditors are wasting thier time because you are attempting to do something not nothing.?? So dont be fearful if you need to appear in court.?? Have your settlement company start some hateful negotations maybe they can get it settled before the court date.
And if they cant, then they can still negotiate after the hearing.?? so just because you got served a summons and if they win, its still not a done deal.?? just hang in there its not as bad as you may think
GHS SOLUTIONS IS TROUBLE, BELIEVE ME
THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU YOUR FRST PAYMENT BACK IF YOU DECIDE TO LEAVE GSH

I surely know one thing that debt settlement company is not going to help you if someone sues you. It is pretty sure that they are not expert in dealing with these kinds of situations. because attorneys are meant for that.
GHS Solutions
I am entertaining using them as well. All of these responses have been helpful to me. The rep from GHS that I am talking to has informed me that I can be sued, However if you are in this program you dont have a ton of left over money at the end of the month. Legally if they garnish your wages they can only take a certain percentage (forgot the number but very low) after all your living expenses. But in short term cases it shouldnt be an issue. These programs are not bail outs. You WILL recieve a ton of calls, you can get sued but the agent I spoke with was very upfront about the negatives.

Wow, I'm very impressed! I Googled this company (put quotes around the name, Axiom is a popular business name). They seem to have been around for a few years and there aren't complaints posted about them! And I couldn't find anything at all on the BBB about them. They have a very informative blog (although they haven't posted anything on it since January). They are a member of USOBA. It looks like a good call to me.
ghs debt solutions??
I just read through two threads on this company and I am back to being confused. The other thread mentioned that their BBB rating was A+ but when I checked its showing a D-...can someone clarify this for me? Also, about 10 years ago we used a company called Consumer Credit Counseling....are they still around and has anyone used them?

GHS has an F rating now. Don't use them. I gave them payments for 6 months and nothingf has been done. They Did NOT call my creditors. They did NOT pay them a dime. Now, I am waiting for a refund. Turned em in to every souirce available so far. And today, debt collectors are calling day AND NIght....like the GHS said...wouldn't. Let the consumer beware!

WhiteStar Financial, The National Debt Defenders Newtork Peter K
GHS has a better reputation than either White Star Financial or National Debt Defenders Network. WhiteStar and NDDN are run by Peter Kirschner and Stuart Rubens- both with extensive disciplinary records with the SEC and NASD. These guys are not to be trusted- especially of you are a potential employee. If they are not satisfied with your results for any reason they will try to spread all kinds of garbage to all of your contacts and family.
Just Google either one of their names with debt settlement or go to the NASD website to view their public records.
I was hired by them for 60 days to raise funds- when a few of my clients found out how bad their records were and it caused a delay in their initial investment- these guys within ONE week tried to ruin my life by publishing false information all over the internet. They had names and addresses of my 5 and 7 year old niece and nephew with their home address on a website saying that I was involved in sex crimes- among many other false statements. These two are total bottom of the barrel to do something like that over a business dispute.
They told me that NDDN had an A rating with the Better Business Bureau- WhiteStar may have a rating, but NDDN has nothing. Who knows what their total scam is- it says WhiteStar on the door and sometimes they answer the phone that way, but all their biz cards and other things say this newer NDDN company.
I would just stay away from anything that Kirschner or Rubens are involved in to be safe!!!

They stole $7500 in a year of payments, they did not help me with creditors, they changed phone numbers, operate under mantis, axiom. I have now multiple lawsuits and hired a bankrupcy attorney. DONT trust those guys, they take your money and then don't do anything, my credit is totally ruined and I have no way to pay all of my debt, because of the high interest charges and penalties that accrued during two years, there is no way to track them or serve papers form the court to get your money back.

I've searched endlessly trying to look for the right company to help me with my debt problems and I came across FAST Debt Advisors . com . Although they are a young company I decided to go with them because rather than doing debt settlement the old way they have this automated debt settlement software that does everything. They put my information into the system and I get to see everything that is going on. All the letters and communications, all the pending offers, and settlements. Its a really easy platform and I am amazed. I wonder why everyone else hasn't jumped on the bandwagon on this one. The reason I chose them is because I dont have to depend on a human to settle my debts, I have full transparency to see everything that is going on with my account, the client support is handled by an attorney firm, and if a creditor attempts to go after me I get up to 40 hours of legal representation. And hopefully I win their $5,000 monthly give away one of these months. In the 1st 3 months in the program a creditor accepted a settlement offer for 20 cents on the dollar and I didnt have any funds available so FAST had a hedgefund by the debt and they guaranteed to settle it with me later when the funds are available for 30 cents on the dollar. What a deal. I couldn't be happier with the program. Its stellar.
I have been paying this company for a year and none of my debts
I have been paying this company for a year and none of my debts have been settled, they have not contacted any of my creditors and I was served papers to inform me that I am being sued in a civil suit by one of my creditors. I am now in the process of contacting an attorney to figure out my options. If I would have been aware of ALL of the consequences involved I wouldn't have chosen this route.
So far I have been with GHS for over 1 year...so far nothing has
So far I have been with GHS for over 1 year...so far nothing has happened except them taking my $. Scam of it is this...With in 1 year you will recieve endless phone calls from the credit card companies, then from the dept collectors after the CC companies give up. (I also suggest you change your phone # to private during this drooling process). GHS will inform you NOT to to contact nor negotiate, as they will do this for you. BS! Now six months pass from that point and my bills/dept end up being sold to a collection/ lawyers firm in which they now serve me with papers in civil court to collect. GHS asks that I fax all info/court papers etc. on this matter to them, in which I hurriedly do. My court date is in 2 days and she (the GHS arbitrator) claims she will get back with me tomorrow to let me know if they will settle before court...the following day!!!!! OMG...farce! I best receive a promising call from GHS, but something tells me I've been had! Whose prepared for court...they give me 1 day to prepare..if they even get back with me at all before hand????
So, OK here is the scam of it all.
1. You sign up with GHS and make arangements for payments to GHS (their share/debt savings combined
2. It goes into a separate bank account
3. The first year they take a majority of their $ out of your payment to pay them their fe 1st, for their so called service. Little $ remains in your account for bill repayment accumulation.
4. Still sending out all your notices to GHS you never hear back, and when you call they act like it's no big deal...and make comments like, don't reply even if they want to negtiate your bill (and I've been offered by the CC companies as low as 40% of the total ballance at the time)..without GHS!! But I did as they recommended and laid low.
5. Hang on because here is where it "all" comes into play...
6.One year goes by and GHS is now paid in "FULL" for their services (what services I ask)...how convenient!!!!
7. Your total ballance owed (example: Capital One..$4,000.00) before signing up with GHS is now a whopping $5,200.00) due to 1 year of accumulating late fees, interest, penalty's and whatever else they can legally get away with.
So now you have paid GHS their fees PLUS accumulating more debt for EVERY bill owed which is also doing the same thing per credit card...cha-ching!!!
8. One year later as the lawyers come now into play and you have only very minimal fundsto accumulated on your part to negotiate with left in your account. Now try to make a deal with the pennies that are left because GHS takes all their $ out of it first.
9. Now by this time in the game, ALL bills are being sent out to, and handled by attorneys taking you to court and you have only pennies to the dollar left to negotiate while of course the: "Who can I even pay 1st" question arises because after 1 year they are all now standing in line for payments too...THEIRS!
In closing...you have now just spent a few grand to GHS for doing NOTHING but giving you false hopes, accumulated a few more thousand in late fees and interest and are now being sued and are left with pennies to try and pay the same people who are now suing for all or nothing because you never responded to their offer of a 40% settlement 6 months ago "before" they had to hire a lawyer and take you to court to collect ...and believe me that you will pay for too, when you loose. After all this BS...bankruptcy sounds like a real pleasure about right now!!!! I just wish I had the funds to pay for filing it!!! And that is the real story as to why GHS gets paid 1st within a year, and the rest of your nightmare follows.. problem is too bad Charlie because by the time you wake up it's too damn late! I score them a 10 though, in great stratagy on their behalf...get paid before you do nothing! SCAM!!!!!! I will let you know if I went to court...or if they settled for the promise land...approximately 30-40% of the balance is what GHS told me at sign up,. Of course that was before my "new" balance over reached over $1000.00 more with charges still accruing.
PS..I came home to a 2nd letter from another lawyer(which now bought my loan) from another credit card) threatening to follow up with a civil suite against me as well, after 30 days of non payment.
10. I suggest filing Bankruptcy...what do you have to loose...but all your debt and 7 years of bad credit. PS...you already have bad credit especially now...With this MESS awaiting me...it will take me forever if ever to get a decent credit rating back anyways and now I also have to say I have had legal judgments against me too?
SCAMMMMMMMMMMM!

I read this and laughed...sorry, but all I can say is your relative must work there. First of all, it takes about 1 year just to pay GHS with any payment plan you pick...therefore any settlement after 6 mos. and now almost 2 within 1 year is BS!!!! They do NOT call any creditors UNLESS you have enough funds accumulated on your side (affter GHS has been paid in full) to negotiate a settlement. So if you get lucky enough to have the $ in your account for a decent offer....the other CC companies are now fed up too after 1 year w/o any payment and now comes the lawyers.
I swear to all PLEASE do NOT get caught up with this company...I know your pain as I'm there now and worse. I have no idea how people who scam those of us just trying to be honest and survive and do the right thing can kick you in the head when your down...and make you pay for it too...How do you sleep at night??????
PS..Odly enough I was watching a news segment tonight about people facing finanial problems and when he reached the issue on debt settlement companies....he said this "Beware as most never deliver!" Just like I found out the hard way, they get paid 1st and from there no garentees with anything. With this he also stated because of this scamming process to so many innocent people falling for this type of promice due to the overwhelming falling economy and housing the Feds have stepped in and are now making these agencies CHANGE their agreements and contracts...I am going to go reseach if it 's to late for me ...for just for new sign ups within a certain date after this law has passed...or if we poor bastards who have been already scammed have any rights too...i'll let you know what I find...Please people beware do your homework!

Oh, I also want to give you something that will bring this all to light with asking yourself one simple question...."How many of us get paid before the work week begins?"...Who esle do we pay before the work is done...a down payment ok, perhaps...ibut in FULL....Never! Your mechanic, carpenter, hairdresser, etc,etc,etc???...and for good reason I may add! I wish I would have done my homework before hand but when we feel desperate we sometimes try to find simple solutions or to answers to good to be true ...which this is. I hope I have helped you further in your homework process, but don't just take my word for it. Research it thoroughly, ask questions. and don't let them talk circles around the answers. I gave you the tools now work with them...best of luck to all!!!
Scammers?
I too have been putting money in an account for them to w/d and it is almost a year and nothing has been done to settle at least ONE account.
I am now going to contact the State Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau.
I think they are a lot of hot air.
BEWARE!!!!!
