a private daycare person is trying to sue me and is contacting my boss and giving out all the information dealing with the debt i owe, what laws cover me from her giving this information and what can i do to stop this from happening?

do you intend to pay her, and just can't right now? Or are you refusing to pay for some reason (she was bad with your kids, that sort of thing?)

I know the military takes outstanding debts very seriously so even if she "shouldn't" have tattled to his chain of command, he might still get into trouble about this.

we intend to pay her and we are actually paying her what we can at the moment, but i thought by law u cant tell the details of the debt to anyone but the person who owes you the money, am i wrong? shes actually going into detail about the amounts and such, not just saying that there is a debt , i know the military is very strict about it that's why im very frustraited becaused the laws dont include people like her who are just private person(s) that we owe money to.
