Any place other than your financial institution is going to be a specialty place. So being custom checks they will be more expensive then just going to your bank and ordering basic checks...

good question i was wondering that myself.. i know some places are better to buy from for privacy issues but i am not sure which ones.

I just went ahead this afternoon and ordered 150 checks and including shipping the total was $6.84 ... I'll report back when I recieve them as to how the quality is and how quickly they come. The website said 2 weeks but we'll see if they get here quicker than that or slower. thanks again for the referral!

Checks are ridiculously expensive. Can't you use a debit card, instead? To me, it's a lot easier than using a check, unless you're using the checks to "float" where you write a check and hope they won't cash it for a few days until you can get the money in the account (not that I would know anything about that, lol). It just seems to me that it would be cheaper, and easier to use a debit card, you just have to watch your purchases.

I'm lucky with my bank, we get checks cheap. No we don't have anything fancy but we use our debit card most of the time.

i agree, i give my landlord a check.. i guess you can use money orders but they cost more in the end than a box of checks..

sorry for the late follow up, be I recieved the checks from Carousel on May 18, good quality, just as I ordered, so I am happy!

Does Carousel Checks allow you to pay for your order by debiting your check account, or do you have to pay by credit or debit card? Are the checks delivered by regular mail, or do they come UPS? Just wondering because, I've had UPS leave packages at my door w/o signature if I'm not home. I live in an apartment and I certainly don't want the checks left at my door if I'm not home.

regular USPS mail left in the mailbox is how I received mine. And you have the option to pay any way you want, by credit card, online check, even just via the mail.
