In reading other forums its seems as soon you send a Validation letter you are opening a can of worms, the same about a letter stopping phones calls, really that does not brother me, Phone rings I say hello, is this YOUR NAME, so I ask them there name first and last, address, name of company, phone, fax. All the time they are asking My Name still have not gave it to them.

What is a good plain of action to deal with these people, they have been calling for about 2 months.

with certain creditors yes.it depends on who.i would send the DV and C&D letters out anyway.send them certified mail return receipt.that is if you have the address.who is this creditor?

they more often buy the debt from the creditor and tell you they are collecting for them.do a search in the upper right hand corner.you find out all you need to know about them.they don't play fair.
