Hi it is now more than 6 months since USMAC took $3800 from me. On the contract I wrote “refundable” before sighing it and they cashed my money without objecting to altered contract. They advised me to stop paying my mortgage because they will notify the bank that they are representing me. But once I received a notice from the bank, the USMAC denied having advised me to not send payments. I talked to them a month ago and they said over the phone that they will refund me. But so far they have done nothing. How can I get my money back. Can anyone send me (in private message) contact for a mortgage lawyer, whom you know has a refundable clause.

any advice, websites, etc that anyone can send me to start the process of getting money back from USMAC would be appreciated

Im in the same boat as you; I very doubt you going to ever see that money, you might as well write it off...I have wrote to Gov. of California to Arnold Schwarzenegger for his help and advice on what to do..due to the fact I live in Florida and the Business is in CA, on his side of the woods, you might want to do the same hopping if he get enough letters and complaints something may get done or you can take them to small claims court.

Is there an agency like State General Attorney that can take USMAC to court?
Any interest as a group to retain a lawyer and take these liers to court?

My 80 year old parents have been scammed by these unscrupulous people at USMAC. I warned my parents but someone sweet talked them into paying $4K to help them with their mortgage. They were told not to respond to the lender...they are now 6 months behind in payments and are going to lose their home they've had for 50 years. The $4K they lost is horrible....but it is the back payment of their mortgage payments they will not be able to recover from. Does anyone have advice on how to report USMAC and possibly get their money back? Any advice on negotiating with the lenders?
