Can someone please tell me the best place to go on the Internet to get all 3 credit scores? Iam assuming that FICO is the most accurate.

Thanks, your help is appreciated!

Kelly

FICO is not just the most accurate, it's the only true score out there. Anything you get from TU and EX are FAKO's (Fake-o's) What is your ultimate goal? There are several different FICO scores, the most common is the Vantage score which is used by credit card companies (I call it the sucker score because that's the one that tells a CC compnay if you're likely to carry a balance and they can make more money off of you). There are also scores used by auto lenders and most importantly, the mortgage FICO.

Hi Nascar
I've right now visited myFICO.com site and found that they are also offering scores from Equifax and TU. They have currently 4 products - Score Watch (score from Equifax), FICO Standard (Equifax/TU), Suze Orman's FICO Kit Platinum (Equifax/TU) and FICO Quarterly Monitoring (TU).

All of this 'scoring stuff' can get confusing for me. In these tough days, what ARE the CB's TRULY looking at? Fico, Vantage scores, etc.?

The Credit Reporting Agencies have their own algorithms but they are not true FICO scores. Nor do they look at scores since they are reporters only. They have just packaged a product that consumers will buy because they don't know any better. You get a few too many free credit report dot com commercials jingling around in your head and you're suckered in. CC companies look at your Vantage score, Mortgage comnpanies look at your mortgage FICO, etc.
