What do I say?

I am presently in a Debt Settlement program with a company and not sure how to handle the credit card company calls.
Do I answer the phone? and if I do, what do I say? I am not doing the negotiating myself, so do I just say, I am working on payment?
Id appreciate any feedback from anyone who has had a Settlement company doing the negotiating and how they responded to their creditors.
Thanks...

Tell them that you are going thru a debt management company and give them the phone number. Or just dont answer the phone.

If you tell them that you are going through a debt management program, provide the contact info for the program, then the creditors should start contacting your debt management company, not you. Which will be a big relief for you!
Best of luck!
