I need major help

They called my husband and he is in Iraq and told him they were contacting the Jag officer because he owed 3 grand. I'm too sure I quite understand what all of this is. They said they settled on the price of 1200 for hiim to pay and honestly if he owed the money who would just settle on a price wouldn't he have to pay all of it? I just don't feel like its a legit company. Has anyone had any other dealings with them to this extreme?

No letter - no talk, no pay, no how, no way. Assume it is a scam and file a complaint with the FCC, the FTC, and your state Attorney General's office.
