So, I recently got a paycut and needed extra cash. I now have 3 loans which have all been rolled over with a charge of $75, $90 and $90. I live in California and read that rollovers are illegal in the state and they can only charge $15 per $100 borrowed. I am in way over my head and can't afford these anymore! I am considering filing bankruptcy, Any advice? Should I change my checking account number? Any help would be great! Thanks!

I'm kind of new myself. You've come to the right place. There are many knowledgeble people who can help you. Good luck.

I couldn't find any info on salaryfast.com. But here is a thread on Sandpoint Capital, I'm pretty sure they are all operating illegaly because they are not even charging you what they are supposed to be for CA.

From looking at 1000 Cash overnight they are operating overseas as well.

The best thing for you to do is to secure your bank account. You will most likely have to put a hard hold on your account and possibly open another one for you to use. Just putting a stop payment on the individual transactions alone will not be enough as they will change the amounts or their names to get around that.

Sandpoint and 1000 Cash are ipdl's I'm familiar with. Send the letters but close your bank account too. They'll still try to debit even with a revocation letter. (The letter is still important in case they get into your new account and need to file a fraud affidavit.) I never heard of salaryfast.com. Is it another ipdl or a store?

my sister is dealing with sandpoint capital now.. it is called a different name but it's the same company - they have a bunch of companies. i am pretty sure they are illgeal, i am not positive because they are prohibted where I live but they seem to be shady.
i know they gave her a run around, webpages that do not work, etc.

Has anyone ever found the address for salaryfast.com? They are horrible people. I paid $200 back on a $200 loan. I have 3 other payday and I am unable to pay them. I signed up for a debt payment plan Greenpath and they don't seem to want to make any effort to find Salaryfast mailing address to send proposal; in fact Greenpath debt solution is doing nothing to help me. . Salary fast wants my new checking account info however I am afraid to give it to them for they are very famous for taking money out of peoples checking account and hav a way to verball jusitfy. I have been searching for weeks for their mailing address. any body? any body?

the lenders aren't locate in the united states people...read your freakin paperwork THAT YOU SIGNED ELECTRONICALLY AND AGREED TO. they don't HAVE to abide by state laws...the companies that contact you are in the U.S. bu the actual lender is not...
so, if you close your account your loan will be sent to an outside collections agency and they can charge you all the fees they want.
these lenders don't have websites. the websites are brokers and send your application out to TONS of different lenders so be smart and don't get an online loan....hello!
