I'm being sued for a credit card from 2005. I live in NC where there are no wage garnishments for credit debt, I don't work, and I don't have any assets (well I do have an old clunker worth about $500), or a bank account.
Why are they going through the trouble of suing me? Is there something that they can do to me that I'm not aware of?
