Letters and e-mails DO WORK!!!

I just wanted to send a shout out to all the wonderful people on this site!! I was over my head and drowning!! I received a "life preserver" from you and I just wanted you to know how much I appreciated it!! :D

I included in the letter that they can only contact me by US Mail or e-mail. That way I have the information straight from them and a hard copy to boot! I like the e-mail because it includes their contact e-mail and the date/time sent. I also print out a copy of the letter/e-mail that I send so I know exactly what I sent to who.

that's what I did too. I received 2 paid in fulls so far. Several e-mails requesting payment which I responded to by re-emailing my original letter. I will hold on to this "paper trail" until I'm sure they won't come after me.
