If you are in the process of filing bankruptcy then I see no reason for you to worry about them. However, just keep your Bk lawyer updated.

Just putting this 'out there'. I know just about all of us have had PDL nightmares. We've taken out PDL's for one reason or another. And I, too, understand, that CA's get involved, when the ORIGINAL amount barrowed is not paid back. But...how can CA's legally collect on the high % rate (fees and everything else..) on a PDL, when so many of PDL's are illegal in the first place?

thanks, I was kind of worried because she keeps calling and leaving me messages that they will be filing bad check charges against me and I don't want to go to court. I did notify my attorney and they are illegal in Maryland.
