Payday loans are prohibited in CT. Check your state laws here. So, the collection company is trying to collect on an illegal payday loan.

pdm or professional debt mediation inc. is the company calling. At first I sent a letter from this forum requesting to stop all ach activity (notified bank first) also requested all contact in writing. instead I got proffesional debt management hounding me at home and work speaking with my supervisor or pretty much any one who will listen. A mr. Holt or a Mrs. mitchell

Do you owe the lender on the principal amount? If so then you may try to pay it off and close the case. But remember that you don't owe the interests and charges since the lender was operating illegally.

I do owe on principal which I will pay but pdm does not want to here it. Can legit cllection agencies collect on illegal loaqns

If they bought my note can they attatch my wages even though I sent a e-mail to my cash now? How do I know if they bought my note

Iam having a hard tame with professonal debt mediators a collection company for my cash now, (illegal in ct). they have notified the credit reporting companies along with harassing my boss and telling any one who will listen about why they are triing to reach me. HELP

Dispute with the credit bureaus citing your state laws. Collection agencies collecting on an illegal pdl can't report to the CBs. Also dispute with PDM.

Have you considered yet complaining against them to the authorities for 1?

I would love to report them not only have they harrassed me at work telling everone at work why they are calling also calling at work on holidays. I could use a little help in going about it I would also like to sue them
