Check to see if any of these lenders are members of the CFSA (The Community Financial Services Association of America) at the link below:
http://www.cfsa.net/MemberList.aspx
Even if they aren't listed there it doesn't mean they aren't so you may need to call them and ask if they are members. If they are, you would be eligible for the EPP (Extended Payment Plan), you can read about the extended payment plan, number 11, at the link below:
http://www.cfsa.net/industry_best_practices.html
The trick is to request the EPP BEFORE you default, so you will need to go into the store and ask for an EPP, they won't offer it to you. When you go, make sure you take a note book with you so you can jot down information, this is just in case they refuse to give it to you for some lame reason or because they aren't informed about an EPP. This has happened to other members, you need to be stern and have ALL the information you need with you. Print out the EPP and the list of members and take thast with you also. Just make sure you don't let them bully you by having all information you need with you to prove they are obligated to provide an EPP to it's customers.
I realize it is going to be difficult (since you have so many) to carry all of these but you really are going to need to make some type of payment arrangements anyway, so if you can do so without the added interest and the threat of being sued I would take advantage of the EPP with all the lenders you are able to.

The CFSA is an organization that some payday lenders are members of, in order for them to be members they must adhere to the rules set forth: The Community Financial Services Association of America is the only national organization dedicated solely to promoting responsible regulation of the payday advance industry and consumer protections through CFSA???s Best Practices |
[QUOTE]CFSA member companies are required to comply with Industry Best Practices that ensure consumer protections and responsible lending to all customers.
