Bankrupty but avoid foreclosure

SO ANYHOW they have scheduled my house to sell in May.... I am trying to work out something with them but we are apparently not seeing eye to eye on my suggestion of automatic withdrawls bi-weekly. So I am considering bankruptcy as well. Does anyone know if you are able to declare bankruptcy and continue to keep your house and how do you do that

Yes I just called them (which is how I found out that they were hanging onto the "surplus" and sending them back to Moneygram) They are ordering the "reinstatement" to see what they can do. Good news is that since I apparently have money sitting waiting for me at Moneygram I will have some for the "down" payment if they get it situated.
They have a surplus of two (minus the $100 that I guess wasn't there so they couldn't count it as a payment) and I have to pick up one

I don't necessarily want to declare bankruptcy -- it was just one of the "options" listed on the notice that they gave me. The one good thing about declaring bankruptcy would be that CashCall would lose and that in and of itself would make me feel better since they won't work with me either.
