Where or at least what department do I send my settlement offer?
There are too many addresses and I am at a loss.
I am also looking for addresses for my other cards. (citi, amx, discover)
Please point me to the right direction.
Thank you

i always call with an offer and if they slam you with a "hello no that will never happen" fax the same offer after the phone call. this can lead to them calling you right back sometimes with an aproval because they had something to show the boss.

i believe with chase though they have a correspondence department so what ever you fax wont get to the right people, they might forward it over but itll take a few days probably.

i do however believe something in writing is much better than something verbal, a fax could sit on some ones desk while they stare at it all month then again it could go right into a shedder.

We are 120 days late. They offered us 50% and sent a fax from legal department with that offer. We want counteroffer but sent where? whom?
The letter (fax, actually) they sent us has very unclear and legal language. I don't think it says anything close to that this payment will be considered to paid in full for the outstanding balance. I want them rephrase and lower the offer too.:)

well this changes things, you need to call and find out if this is really in the chase legal department, or is it pre-legal, pre-legal ive settled at 30% is my lowest, it only stays in pre-legal for like 25 days then goes to legal, if your getting a 50% in legal you might want to take it before you get served on the full balance. chase is kinds crazy right now, not all chase go this route to be clear.

I have tried a lot of times to get copies of the papers that Chase says I signed. They sent me a set of papers but the signature page was not signed..it was blank. I have requested copies at least five times and each time they say they are in the mail...I have been trying since Chase took over WAMU stuff...what can I do to get a copy. I did not get anything from the lenders agent when he had me sign with WA Mu at Starbucks.
