Since they haven't accepted the debt validation letter, you should send them a cease and desist letter next. Along with file complaint with the FTC and state attorney general's office.

these people have been calling me for months. first they said i was going to be arrested, after calling me every name in the book. they refuse to give me an address, said they do not have to send me anything in the mail and i can go to hell. then started calling every five minutes and hanging up. now they call a few times a day. this week one even left a message saying he had an affadavit and was filing charges if i did not call back in 24 hours. well it's been a few days and they are still calling. i have filed complaints with the attorny general and ftc. they first insisted i wire them money then called me a loser bitch when i said no. said i had a warrant for my arrest out over the debt. i didn't. i even called the courthouse and was told no arrest warrants can be issued over debt or the whole country would be in jail. i ran my credit report and they are nowhere on it, nor is the debt they claim i owe. i am unable to send any letters as they seem to have no legit address. from what i have seen they are scammers working with some attorney from nigeria. i called the state bar and gave his name and again, no good address to use either. i refuse to answer the phone when they call since all they do is curse and call me names. they claim they do not have to use the mail at all and it's none of my business where they are. i'm not talking to anyone or giving any info out over the phone. i have never received anything in the mail from them, they claim they sent a letter with a copy of my pending charges way back, i think i would have noticed something like that. but then again they refused to say when it was sent out.

i am going to make a tape of the vm they left and send it to the attorney generals office. it is not legal to leave messages with time limits or threats of being arrested or any other legal action. from everything i have been able to look up on these people they pull this on everyone. they say they are attorneys but will not give out a full name. what kind of attorney doesn't give out his name or address??? one that isn't real and trying to steal.

Unhappy..I have been battling the illegal lenders and collectors for approx 5 months. They cant and wont do anything to you. Although very annoying, the calls are best left unanswered. Eventually, they'll stop.
