My account went to NCO from Zwicker. Last month I had my account with Zwicker they sent me a letter and also offered to settle for 60% I was at 35%. They said I will be sued so right away I send them a debt verification letter and lettet or arbitration. Few days latter I also send them a letter to settle the account at 45%.
But today I got letter from American Express that my account has been sent to NCO, I have not searched them are they easy to handle? do they settle?
Any advice.

my Am Ex went to Jafee and Asher-attorneys-any one have any experience with them? thanks!

Zwicker's guidelines are refuse to present any offers to Amex
sue and get attorney fees plus their cut of the settlement. I'd say you dodged them with the arb election...NCO is much easier to settle with...

Another thing that affects % of settlement is placement order. A 1st placement has lower fees and lower settlement amounts...collectors generally cream off the easy stuff....when you start to get down to 3rd and 4th placements, higher fees come into play and settlement amounts may go up

No they can't. You are lying. 35% settlements with NCO are terrific and anything lower is a grand slam. Quit your shameless prospecting in this do it yourself forum.
