I do want to pay them but they are refusing to make any payment
I do want to pay them but they are refusing to make any payment plan with me so I was thinking about sending them a certified letter with a money order from the postal service and do it that way so they if they cash the money order I can tell them that yeah, you accepted my offer of $50 every two weeks or so until my principle is paid off.

They will not accept that because they want me to pay the full amount. I want to make sure that they get my letter and that they know I have every intention of paying them but just can't make the full amount. I'm also thinking about copying the California Attorney General on the letter just in case they want to take me to court.
